Overview
If you have a problem where you cant find an NPC or you think they’ve fallen into the void, this guide will help you find them, and if they’re in the void. Get them out of there.

First of you are going to need the refernce id of the npc you are trying to find, i would use this site[fallout.wikia.com] (its [link] if you’re afraid of uknown urls)
( WARNING, IT IS ADVISED TO MAKE A HARD SAVE BEFORE DOING THIS)
If you simply want to teleport to the npc get their reference ID and type in player.moveto xxxxx (xxxxx stands for the refernce id) in the console. And after a short time and propably a loading screen you will be telported to the location of the NPC.
If it turns out that he’s in the void, then you need to reload to the save you made before teleporting to him, (fast travelling out of there might work aswell). And teleport him out of it.
The way you do that is by typing in prid xxxxxx (once again xxxx stands for the reference ID)
This “selects” the npc in the same way that clicking him does. Then press enter and type in: moveto player
I’l use Julie Farkas as an example.

This will teleport her infront of you. After this she will resume her regular behaviour. If she is dead her corpse will teleport infron of you instead.
It is advised to do this close to where their original location is so that they dont get killed somewhere in the wasteland going back to their original location.
