Melee Achievement guide (fists, Maglite)
Slash with Machete, Kit Knife and use fists or maglite on a casual shambling zombie his head = profit
Machete can be replaced with any other medium weighted melee (press 1 it should fit like 1/8 – 1/6 of your inventory) and you shouldn’t replace the kit knife by any light melee weapon.
With hatchet you’ll need 1 extra melee hit (2 melee hits)
Children = 1 well charged melee hit with fists or 2 – 3 quick hits with fists or maglite.
Crawler = 1 hit on the head with fists or maglite
Using fire (molotov, fuel cans, flare gun) will also help into making this objective easier, official maps that are recommended to do this are Isolated and Cleopas. Aside from that boowalk (community map) is a very good map to farm the melee achievement
