In this guide i want to share with you tons of theories from whole world of Five Nights at Freddy’s.

2.Game timeline
Timeline:
1969- FredBear’s Family Diner Killing- A single child is killed by the Purple Man; the first victim. This child will take control of the Puppet sometime between now and 1973. FredBear’s Family Diner closes, and the fate of the original Fred is unknown.
1973- The company reorganizes, new characters Chica and Foxy are created, Fazbear Entertainment forms, and two FFB locations are opened. One is a small establishment with the Spring-Suits; the “sister location” to the main, larger establishment, where Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy reside.
1973- “Multiple” and “simultaneous” Spring-Lock failures take place at the Sister Location. Two employees are killed in Spring-Freddy and Spring-Bonnie. These result in the Shadow Spirits, taking the form of Bonnie and Freddy. The suits are removed to the Safe Room of the main location, the sister location is permanently closed, and the Safe Room is boarded away, trapping Spring-Bonnie within. Spring-Freddy is most likely somewhere else, and is eventually scrapped.
1973- Purple Man comes back, claiming an additional five children. Eventually, the Puppet stuffs their bodies into the animatronics, including Spring-Freddy. The souls of these children become the main animatronics, and FFB is eventually closed for health reasons due to the bodies.
Sometime between 1973 and 1987- Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza opens again, in a much larger, newer location with the “Toy” Animatronics leading the new run. The originals are cleaned, withered away, and used for parts in the Toys to make this possible. Spring-Freddy is scrapped, and the spirit of the child who inhabited him became the ghostly Golden Freddy, which took the shape of whatever the real Freddy looked like at the time because it has no tangible body.
Summer 1987- The next murder wave. Purple Guy strikes a third time, tampering with the animatronics (wearing Spring-Bonnie) and leading a toddler to to the back room and killing him. This child’s death results in two things: The place getting closed down for an investigation, and the Mangle becoming possessed. The body is in the Safe Room of the Old Location, and thus, never found.
October 1987- After the investigation ends, Purple Guy is arrested and charged for minor offenses, with a relatively short jail term. But since no murder could be proven, the place reopens.
Week of November 9th, 1987- Jeremy Fitzgerald serves his last week of work as a night guard, and is moved to day shift after he finishes. He is relieved, assuming he can finally be safe from the animatronics, but unbeknownst to him, Mangle is still possessed. He is replaced for the very last day, that Saturday, by Fritz Smith.
November 14th, 1987- The Bite of ’87. Mangle attacks Jeremy during the day, tearing out his frontal lobe and permanently incapacitating him. This results in the place being shut down after that night, the Toy Animatronics being completely scrapped, and the Withered ones kept in hopes of a possible second reorganization of the company.
Between 1987 and 1993- The Withered animatronics are brought back, restored, and the Old Location is reused. The four possessed classic animatronics and Golden Freddy haunt once again, but at this point, only going after anyone dressed as a guard, due to their resemblance to Purple Man.
End of year 1993- Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza goes out of business for the last time, and the place is completely abandoned.
Between approx. 2000 and approx. 2010- Purple Man pays close attention to the animatronics, and realizes that the souls of the children are restless, and out for revenge at the earliest opportunity. The Shadow Spirits and The Puppet, however, are aware of his plans to circumvent this, and the Shadows lead Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy toward the saferoom, intentionally glitching them out so that Purple Guy can destroy them. The souls of the children are freed when the animatronics are destroyed.
Meanwhile, the soul within the Puppet comforts all of the restless souls of the others, reassuring them that the peace and freedom they so thoroughly desired is at hand, and finally preparing them for true death.
An additional soul, either the Puppet’s or Golden Freddy’s, effortlessly travels into the Safe Room after the animatronics are destroyed, bearing eventual witness to the Purple Guy’s terror as all of his victims confront him. Panicked, he goes into the extremely worn-and-torn Spring-Bonnie suit, laughing triumphantly as he thinks he has bested them. But in his panic, Purple Guy didn’t consider how damp and wet the suit became, and for similar reasons to those which created the Shadow Spirits, the spring-locks unload, and Purple guy is trapped in the suit, severely injured, and left to bleed to death and rot by the spirits of the children, now made totally free by retribution…for a time.
Approx. 2010 to 2024- Purple Man rots, decomposes, and withers within the Springtrap suit, eventually adapting his soul to the suit, as his victims once did to the animatronics. He, the Puppet, and several relics are found in 2024, and taken to Fazbear’s Fright: The Horror Attraction.
2024- Fazbear’s Fright: The Horror Attraction is made haunted by Springtrap’s arrival, and the now re-tormented souls of the victims follow, creating the Phantom Hallucinations because all except the Puppet no longer have bodies. The Puppet, enraged by Purple Man’s soul surviving, does the one thing he can do to save them; burns down the entire facility. Fazbear’s Fright burns to the ground, but Springtrap, and thus, Purple Guy, survives, potentially living on to strike again and damning the souls to eternal unrest.

Henry opened Fredbears with Afton, starting a business with him. They do it to entertain kids and keep adults pleased.. At first it’s just for the smiles on peoples faces.. But then, Henry’s son gets kidnapped and killed by the yellow rabbit as Charlie explains in the book. Henry is heartbroken, Charlie’s mother has left due to how painful it is.. Henry then opens a resturaunt which is the FNaF1 location, during this time another location has opened wich is where FNaF2 comes in. In the games when they talk about the other location, its the location Henry opened after his sons murder. But during this time Afton is still working with Henry.. Which places him at the right time to kidnap and kill the other kids. The resturaunt is closed down and Henry is accused of the murders, even his own sons.. He’s distraught and commits suicide.. Now, for the next few years Afton has opened up FNaF2 location, using the old(extra) models to design the toy animatronics.. Which is what he opens to the public in a new town, and by now we know Afton had a wife at one point and he has three children.. His oldest being an unknown angsty, bully of a teen, a middle child being his daughter, and the youngest being the crying child… The daughter dies first, after Afton has started secretly designing new animatronics that would make it easier to abduct children, the daughter is warned to stay away from Baby before she’s even realeased to the public. Now, as he’s warned her several times, she doesn’t stay away.. She talks to Baby, who notices her from her programming and makes an ice cream for her… As the little girl goes for it, Baby snatches her, killing her.. Afton is distraught, his little girl killed by his own creation, he then stores all the circus animatronics away for later.. Or never.. He is grieving, and the crying child is mourning.. Which is why he’s always crying. But that’s not all.. He knows what his dad does… He KNOWS his dad has killed other kids.. But now that his sister is gone, and his older brother being a bully, all he has left is his dad, seeing as the mother isn’t in the picture. The crying child’s birthday approaches, his dad decides to make it a good one, as he’s helping another employee into a suit the child mistakes it as a killing and freaks out. Then, when the party day has come, the brother and his friends decide to help crying child “get a better look” which in end kills him… Not right away, but eventually he dies.. Afton is distraught and abandoned everything, leaving back to hurricane ten years later. Now, I’ll get back to that in a minute… At SL, ten years later, the animatronics are underground, Afton has sold them to a new company which sends em out for rentals unaware of the horror they truly are. But once an incident happens they get retired and prepared for “Scooping” that’s when the older brother gets a job there as a technician.. He wants to know what his father has left behind… He wants to know the truth, even though he’s pretty sure he knows the truth, but he needs confirmation.. That’s when he’s noticed by Baby and she interacts with him, it she’s talking as the little girl, who doesn’t recognize her brother after so many years.. But it’s not baby talking… Its Ennard, Baby was already scooped at this point, by Ennard… Every animatronic that was scooped had become a part of Ennard.. Which then, the older brother is scooped, and as horrible as it is… Reunited with both his siblings.. Now, during this time Afton is back in Hurricane under the alias Dave.. Where he decides to start over and keep watch of the first location… Relishing in his work, keeping the spirits there under his control… But then Charlie is back, reunited with her friends, they want to see IT, the restaurant her father made… And then Dave knows his sanctuary is disrupted, now.. He has to stop them.. As mentioned in the book, they saw Dave(Afton) seeming dead, lifeless inside. That’s because he hasn’t healed from losing two of his kids and disowning his eldest for killing the youngest.. Charlie and her friends figure it all out, once Micheal(Golden Freddy) stops the other children from attacking them, they get ready to leave when Carlton’s dad comes to the rescue.. But as they’re leaving Afton grabs Charlie and talks about how she belongs to him now, but she triggers the springlocks causing him to be disabled and possibly die? That’s something I believe happened, hense the animatronics dragging his withering body away… Now, years later after the place has been abandoned it was unearthed again and brought to life as fazbears fright after finding a “real one” meaning Afton’s corpse… Meaning a real “life” animatronic… And then you are a bystander hired as a security guard, left to face Afton for a last time, I figured you’d be playing as someone once related to Charlie or her friends.. Maybe Carlton? And you know what must be done… Burn the place down… End Afton for good, and let the souls be free….

Theories part 2:
The facts:
Fnaf 2 is a prequel to Fnaf 1. Confirmed by this picture shown at the end of night 6.
Scott Cawthon is not an all knowing, all forseeing, superhuman who knew the original game was going to be a huge success and had the complete story prepared since the first game’s launch. It can be assumed that the second game’s story was built around the first’s.
What can be deduced:
The previous night guard is the killer of the five (four?) children. An investigation is put into place [see night 4 recording], and on the day it is solved, his position opens [see night 5 recording]. To add to this, after the investigation is completed, Phone guy says to be especially wary of previous employees [see night 5 recording]
The marionette clearly transferred the souls of the children to the old suits, shown in the “Give Life” easter egg.
The marionette is supernatural in some form or another. Normal animatronics don’t steal the souls of children.
The golden freddy suit is the one that was used by the previous night guard to lure the children into the back room. This can be deduced from the night 6 recording.
The cutscenes from the perspective of freddy are clearly in the location from Fnaf 1, this can be deduced from the tables set up and decorated in the exact same pattern. Not to mention, the old animatronics were never on the stage of the second game’s location.
The bite of 87′ happened on day 7. This can be deduced from the night 6 recording. more details in the full timeline.
The Full story (kinda):
Fredbear’s diner is opened featuring four completely normal animatronics: Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken, and Foxy the Pirate Fox.
The restaurant doesn’t do so well, and is “left to rot”. After a while another company comes in and buys up Fazbear entertainment to begin working on a new location, Freddy Fazbears Pizza (This explains why the owner of Fredbear’s diner is referred to as “the original owner” [see the night 5 recording])
The company begins work on the new establishment. They spend a small fortune developing the new animatronics, and through some ungodly means come into possession of “The Marionette”.
The first night guard to work there is a criminal. What he did to become a criminal is unclear, although something related to children can be assumed. The animatronics, which are tied into a criminal database [see night 1 recording], begin attempting to attack the night guard, and at the end of his week, he is moved to the day shift.
Jeremy (The player) is brought in as the new night guard. The animatronics have become untrusting of night guards, or they simply do not realize the old one was moved to the day shift, and they begin to assault you as well. Keep in mind, the old animatronics have been retrofitted with the same software as the new ones, so they have the same reason to attack you [see the night 2 recording].
On Day 3 The day guard (the old night guard) puts on a golden freddy suit and lures 5 children into the back room (the parts/service room). 4 are killed and stuffed inside the old animatronics. The fifth escapes, but i’ll address that later. Anyways, Rumors begin to spread about the missing children [see night 3 recording]. The marionette, seeing the opportunity, transfers the souls of the dead children into the 4 old animatronic suits (take note, night 3 is when all the easter eggs, particularly the “Give Life” easter egg, begin to pop up). It is also important to note that according to the newspaper article from the first game, the murders take place in june.
On Day 4, the investigation of the restaurant begins as the search for the missing children leads there, and the animatronics become more untrusting of the staff [see night 4 recording].
On Day 5, The mystery is solved, the previous night guard is apprehended, and the story is revealed; except for where the bodies were hidden. The building is put on lockdown.
On Day 6, Someone uses the golden freddy suit that was used in the murders. What happens at this point is unclear, although it can be gathered from the night 6 recording that the new animatronics commit an act of considerable malice towards the person in the suit. The restaurant is closed down as a result and the new animatronics are scrapped, save for a birthday the following day, which Jeremy (The Player) is assigned to. What makes Golden Freddy so active on night 6, or active at all for that matter, is unknown, though some call it a hallucination.
On Day 7, Jeremy stays very close to the animatronics, as he was told to the previous night. One of the animatronics bites Jeremy on the head, taking out his frontal lobe; resulting in the infamous “Bite of 87′”. Jeremy is hospitalized, and on November 12, 1987 collects his paycheck.
Years later, the restaurant reopens having refurbished the old animatronics and implemented a tighter budget. Phone guy takes up the night shift. Sometime during this period, The marionette takes direct control of freddy (see night 5 cutscene); This can be furthered by the fact that the marionette is associated with music boxes, and Freddy plays a music box sound. It is also theorized that the marionette is in the kitchen, as that is the one place that can never be seen in the first game, and when freddy is in the kitchen his music box sound is especially loud.
On his last week, Phone guy records a series of messages for the next employee. On the fourth night of his last week, Phone guy is sadly murdered by one of the animatronics (See Fnaf 1 Night 4 recording]. God bless his soul.
In what is projected to be between 1991 and 1996 (see This video Time=8:28) The fifth missing child from the Freddy Fazbear murders of 1987, having grown up, returns to the new Freddy Fazbear’s location to take a job as the night guard. This explains why Mike Schmidt keeps coming back in the first game. Perhaps he wanted to make sure the same thing didn’t happen to other kids that happened to his friends, perhaps it was out of a twisted sense of nostalgia, or perhaps he wanted to know what happened to his friends.

5.Game theories/Sister location
Theories:
Some fans claimed that because of the look of the environment in the trailer and the seemingly advanced design of the animatronics that Sister Location occurs in the future. However, there was no way to know until you see the dates displayed during gameplay. Nobody knew if Sister Location would take place after the events of the first game where you play as Mike Schmidt or if Sister Location took place sometime between the opening of the original Fredbear’s Family Diner and the events that took place while the second location was open.
We hoped the new game would give us some answers to the mysteries of the story established so far. The main character in Sister Location was not named before its release. Some wondered if there would even be a connection to Jeremy Fitzgerald, the Purple Guy or the Phone Guy. There were tons of questions and ideas floating around regarding the quick mention of an „unfortunate event” that took place at the sister location. We couldn’t wait to find out what „spring lock failures” occurred where and when.
Fact:
This is the biggest reveal of all: Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location takes place in 1983. The „Bite of ’83” incident plays a major role in the game. Sister Location reveals that Baby was responsible. By playing and beating the 8-bit minigame that pops up after the main character dies, you see a quick cut scene where a young girl approaches the animatronic to get served ice cream only to be grabbed and sucked inside the body of the robot. The end of the game also reveals the origin and identity of the Purple Guy.
6.Game theories/Sister location

The first time most Five Night’s at Freddy’s players heard Balloon Boy speak was one of the scariest and most effective moments in the series. FNaF has not had any of its characters talk up until the point when Baby was first heard saying, “The show will begin momentarily. Everyone, please stay in your seats.” Any kid who has visited a Chuck E. Cheese’s or a ShowBiz Pizza knows those words, but in the trailer we heard even more dialogue. Freddy and Foxy both appeared to have speakers on their chests. The theory was that they would actually speak while they stalk you.
This is just one example of how these new animatronics are terrifying. The way their faces separate is unsettling and almost appears to be inspired by the jack-in-the-box creature from last year’s holiday horror hit Krampus. Each robot moves with jarring motions that feature their facial panels popping in and out of place, and that ending when Baby’s inner design is revealed is a violent looking cybernetic nightmare. The metal skull and teeth are straight up kindertrauma, and her glowing eyes couldn’t be creepier. Ballora’s eyes don’t open at all and her teeth look needle sharp as well, so we could only theorize what deadly abilities these animatronics were going to reveal.
Fact:
Of the eight animatronics in the game, almost all of them speak during the course of each night. We already knew from the teaser and FNaF World that Baby could talk. And recently a clip of leaked audio was found to contain the haunting voice of Ballora. As you progress through the game, you also hear the voice of Bidybab, Freddy and the Bonnie hand puppet. Freddy’s voice is particularly upsetting considering he actually sounds like a deranged maniac with a high pitched voice.

It was revealed that a total of seven characters would be in Sister Location. In the trailer, we got glimpses of the shiny new „Funtime” versions of Freddy Fazbear and Foxy the Pirate. We also get to finally see the animatronic version of Baby, who was first introduced in FNaF World as a set of glowing eyes. The final new character is the robotic ballerina called Ballora who dances on stage behind the rest of the group and looks the most humanlike out of all of them.
At the time, we didn’t know who the remaining three characters were. The small hand puppet that resembles Bonnie the Rabbit could have been one of them. The two figures in the control room look like they could have been toy versions of the other two.
Fact:
The three characters Ennard, Minireena and Bidybab were not in the teaser trailer. The new animatronics Baby and Ballora are the dominant antagonists of the game and Minireena and Bidybab are their counterparts. Similar to miniature versions of the main characters, the Minireena robots are dancing and twirling versions of Ballora, and the Bidybabs are small bots that resemble Baby. The scariest animatronic of them all is Ennard. He’s the ultimate bad guy who hides in the shadows.
