Overview
Hello everyone. I bought heavy rain on pc because i didn’t play it on ps. Unfortunently my laptop didn’t cooperate with the game and it caused lot of freeze and crashes. I found the solution and i’ll share it for users like me.
Solution
1. First we need to run a game and wait till it freezes for good. Then we have to close the game ( not alt+f4 ) but do it properly even we can’t see the screen. It’s needed because game have to save our options in user_setting.ini
2. Then in the game folder we have to find user_setting.ini and open it. Change VSync and VSyncInterval values to “0”
3. Go to the NVIDIA control panel. Poke on 3D Parameter Management. Select the program settings and add the game. Select the “preferred graphics processor Nvidia”. Set the vertical clock to “off” .Triple buffering “on”.Power management mode, select “Maximum performance mode”
