Fix problem “The procedure * could not be located in the DLL DPLAYX.DLL”

Overview

Turn on direct play to use older games… windows 8, 8.1.1 and 10Запуск старых игр на новых компьютерах. Включение DirectPlay.

If you want to play older games on your new laptop it’s a good idea to enable this.
1. Press [windows key]+[x] then press [p] to open the control panel.
2. find/ open “Programs and Features” then press the “Turn windows features on or off”… it’s on the left hand side.
3. Put a tick in the direct play… look in the L’s for legacy, then restart your system.

1. Откройте панель управления нажатием сочетания клавишь win+x, затем нажмите “Ь”

2.Найдите и откройте Программы и компоненты – Включение/Отключение компонентов Windows
3. Поставьте галочку на DirectPlay, находится в меню Компоненты прежних версий
4. Перезагрузите компьютер. Готово.
