Solution for at least my crash that was right after clicling “start” on the game menu.
Fix
Just a quick guide to fix it. The problem is that your savefiles are corrupted, and I am really sorry but to play it I think you will have to renounce to them and start from the beginning. This fix works for the crash that happens after clicking “START” on the game menu.
Let’s fix it:
– Enable STEAM CLOUD for this game.
– Open the game, let it run until this screen
-Now use ALT+TAB to minimize the game.
– Go to: C:Program Files (x86)SteamuserdataXXXXXXX(your ID)35140remote
– You will find “X” number of savefiles, starting from Save0.sgd. DELETE ALL OF THEM.
– Now use ALT+TAB to open again the game, click on START, it should work now.
– On the savefile option menu, you will see that the game says that the savefiles are corrupt, ok.
– Now you just have to delete each savegame using “SUPR” key. Start a new game, choose difficulty and skip the few scenes at the beginning. Once you control Batman and the game have been saved automatically, just click exit to go the main menu.
– Press “ESC”, and repeat the last step for each savegame that the game says it’s corrupt.
– Now you can play this game from the beginning, better than never I guess.
Extra:
– I have tried everything to be able to use my old savegames (100% the game), it was impossible at least for me.
– I have tried not using STEAM CLOUD for the game, it was even worst, same crash but no savefiles to fix…
