A solution of the problem with launching the game

Hi all. Like many other players i ran into a problem when the game doesn’t start because of the error “Dead Space.exe has stopped working”. I have tried many solutions: reinstalling the game, changing the compatibility to Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7, etcetera. And these methods didn’t help me, except for one – creating settings.txt file in the game folder and disabling some options.
You should follow the next steps to do it right:
Open the Run dialog box by pressing Win + R on you keyboard. Then write “appdata” and press ok. After this you will see the app data folder. You need to go into “Local”. Then you should create “Electronic Arts” folder. After creating, go into it. And in this folder create “Dead Space” folder. Again open the new dead space folder and create .txt document “settings”. If you did all that steps right, open the settings document and write the next text:

Доброго времени суток. Как и многие игроки, я столкнулся с проблемой, когда во время запуска игра вылетает с ошибкой “Прекращена работа программы Dead Space.exe”. Я испробовал множество “классических” способов для решения этой проблемы – от переустановки и проверки целостности кэша игры в стиме до изменения совместимости в ярлыке игры с Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7 и так далее. Ни один из методов не помог, кроме одного – создание текстового документа с названием “settings”, внутри которого должны быть отключены некоторые стандартные опции для игры.
Инструкция:
Сочетанием клавиш Win + R на клавиатуре откройте панель “Выполнить”. В поиске пропишите “appdata” (без кавычек) и нажмите ок. После нажатия вы будете моментально перенаправлены в одноименную папку. В app data откройте “Local”. Создайте папку с названием “Electronic Arts” (без кавычек), внутри которой создайте ещё одну – “Dead Space” (без кавычек). В последней вам необходимо создать текстовый документ “Settings” с разрешением .txt. Внутри документа пропишите следующие команды:
