Hello guys in this guide i’ll be showing you how to get your food and what food you need for winter in Don’t starve!
Bunny’s as food supply
Hi guys today i’ll be telling you how to get your food for winter
Step 1 Make multiple traps and chests
Step 2 Find a ton of carrots(you can use berry’s 2 (if you cant get carrots or berry’s place the trap over a rabbit hole and when teh come out you have a rabbit)
Step 3 Find a area whit a lot of bunny’s
Step 4 Place your traps and bait them whit carrots. (take the carrots out of your inv and hold them over the trap to bait)
Step 5 Whait around the traps in some time you will have tons of bunny’s.
Step 6 put the bunny’s in your chest’s (DONT KILL THEM OR THE MEAT WILL SPOIL BEFORE WINTER COME’S kill them if you need them)
REALLY IMPORTANT
I know this is a guide how to get your food for winter but i thought i should just show you guys.
Its very important to make warm clothing.I highly recommend getting the beefalo hat.It will enable you to get away from a fire for a short amount of time.

If you have a freezer made you can get yourself a amount of beefalo meat.To get it its very simple.
Step 1 you will need a spear and a logsuit to really kill a beefalo safe
Step 2 if you find a lone beefalo your lucky and can kill it (if you find beefalo’s rare dont kill teh give you the only supply of manure that you dont need to pay food for)
Step 3 If you only have a hord of beefalo’s try leading some of them away from the other’s
Step 4 If you manage to get alot of meat (like 30 or something and having some rabbit’s) i reccomend baking them together in the cookingpot whit some vegetables you might have harvested for the winter.
koalaphant
If you are lucky you may find SUSPICOUS DIRT PILE’S in your world.I will tell you how you can use them to get food.
Step 1 I recommend having a cage ready for building near your camp do this first (leave a big entrance a beefalo would fit trough
Step 2 If you see a pile of dirt investigate if you look good the way the track is showing is shown follow this way until you find another one.
Step 3 if you have done this like 1/4 game day you will find a strange beefalo like creature named the koalaphant.This creature makes 10/15 manure a day and drops many meat on death (DONT KILL IT YET) the koalaphant will run from you just like the rabbit’s.If you can lead him into your made cage and lock him in you have your manure farm and some meat for if the winter comes.
Dont be joked by him running from you though the koalaphant is pretty strong and you will need a spear and logsuit to easily kill him.
Fruit/Vegetables
Dont be unprepared your farms WONT work in the winter so if you’re going to be getting Fruit and Vegetables i would recommend 1/3 of your manure to fast grow food for the winter and put it in your freezer (2/3 manure you have you will need to keep your fire up because if you have no clothes and
no fire you will take freezing damage very fast.
