Overview
A loose guide on Force of Nature… NOT a walkthrough!

Please note, i have not noticed any change since creating the original text guide – i will upload an MP guide soon
Ok… so once you got past the menue screen etc… you will notice a few things:
> The view… is UNCHANGABLE!!!!
> You have woken up on a beach.
> There is a shiny red thing near you
> A quest has presented itself to you

Here is what you SHOULD do:
> CLOSE the quest log and IGNORE it… for now
> pick up the red thing… you can press [space] to see the name etc + mouse click
> We already know we need this **Ruby Chip** so pick it up with L-CTRL <<< we are going to use this all the time now ** THE ONLY WAY TO HARVEST atm IS EITHER [space] + click the plant OR, open the inventory… look at the bottom and click HARVEST ALL **
> ignore any windows that MAY open here
> Explore the beach… yeh, you know… the thing covered in sand??? Pick up EVERYTHING not nailed down… L-CTRL….
> By this point, you may have noticed some grass o’er yonder… NO… NOT THE SMOKABLE STUFF!… Might be… i don’t know…
> Explore this area… doing as above **L-CTRL** and grab EVERYTHING!!!
> Open your inventory **I**…. Quest log **Q** etc
> Oh… you MAY have complete a few quests automatically by this point 😉
> Do what they say
NOTES – to CRAFT… press **C** to build? press **B**… for quest log… **Q** etc and blahblahblah

The rest is just trial and error tbh… Anyway… ONCE you have completed the FIRST BATTLE quest, consider the **TUTORIAL** to be over….
Hints and Tips
Ok… once you HAVE completed **FIRST BATTLE** you SHOULD know what to do (mostly) and how to play… (kinda)

Here are some hints and tips for those of you who need more….
> Grab every plant and piece of fruit you see!!!!
> Periodically check your inventory for new stuff that you have collected and what they do
> don’t worry about your inventory getting full anytime soon… unless your a MENTAL collector it should be 50% or LESS once the first battle is done. **you can always build a storage chest 🙂 **
> Best location for base??? See that grass o’er yonder? yep… build where you are basically **first area** IF and i say I>F you need to MOVE any base item, you can do so by going into the B menue
> DO NOT BOTHER WITH THE CUDGEL!!!! it may be a weapon which allowes for DODGE… But the mace is far superior… 2x hits… maybe 3 and BAM! YA DEAD… ummm i mean… THEY’RE DEAD!!!
> ONCE you have built your first HUT you can freely build anything you like **as long as you have the level + tools etc**… this means that you CAN avoid the quests… not for ever though… quests = GET LEVEL
> KITE mobs from big groups **you CAN do this…. lol** 3-4x mobs =certain death!!!!!
> When you die you will wake up on the beach again… with a RANDOM chance of losing RANDOM inventory… BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT DIE! lol
> IF your are stuck on a quest **which happens very easily** Just check what it is asking you to do against…. do you have the materials/tools/etc? If not… make them!!! sometimes it is even MORE vague than this **i was stuck on the CRAFTING TABLE, because it is not listed in the encyclopedia i did not figure how to build it for about 45 mins lol** ((sometimes when you cant find to CRAFT a thing… maybe.. just MAYBE you will have to BUILD it 😉 ))
FOOD LIST WITH PRIORITY
Bananas are the best for stamina **raw**
Coconuts **STAMINA – RAW**
Strawberries **HEALTH -RAW**
Apples **HEALTH + STAM -RAW**
MUSHROOMS:
Russles: health ((+ STAM???)))
Cepes: Health…
ANY OTHER; POISON!!!!
^ GRAB AS MUCH OF THESE AS YOU CAN!!!!
> NEVER use the QUICK ACCESS slots **the 2 slots next to hot bar** because it is far easier/quicker to queue up your tools/weaps/traps/food and use the direct from the number keys
Now get out there… explore… survive… escape ((is escape possible???))
UPDATE –
Hot-keys are now changeable through the settings menu – Vivianna **… i went into the settings menu and changed the pick-up to F and the harvest all to V … much simpler than L-CTRL**
UPDATE – If you are having trouble with food – add it to your hot-bar and press the corrisponding number (helps with fights etc – also don’t forget if a fight is too tough, *kite* them while attacking – may not always work as once agroed they will not lose the agro – unless this has been changed)
