Overview
Updated – i tried to translate everything in english. Setup: i7-7700k, MSI 2080 RTX-Seahawk, 16 GB Gskill 4.2 GHz Ram, ASUS Z270-P Motherboard, AOC 1440p and Logitech G933 HSA Guide for much more performance and FPS, killing frame-drops and stuttering. Fixing the AA problems and optimize your Graphic for optimal view and sharpness.
Computer performance,power and resolution settings
So u go into your Windows settings and click on System.
Now click on “Power and sleep” and choose Additional power settings at the right side.
Here u need to click on High performance.
This setting gives your PC the max power of GPU, CPU and RAM.
Now you go back to Settings and click on Gaming.
First go on Xbox Game Bar, and shut it off.
After that, go to Game Mode and shut it down too,
and then click on the right side on Graphic settings.
Turn the Hardware-accelerated GPU sheduling to OFF and if you have this setting turn-> Variable refresh rate to >> ON.
Now scroll down, choose Desktop app and search for Hell let loose.
Click on HLL.exe go to options and choose >>High Performance.

Then u just need to save and close Settings.
Attention! If you do this next step, you need to start HLL ONLY in Steam, it wont work with the desktop icon because the start commands are in steam and your icon starts the game with the exe file from your PC!
So you open Steam and go to your Library.
Click with yout right mouse button on Hell let loose and go to properties.
and then launchoptions, in this field you type this..:
-> -> -> -refresh 144 -dx12 <- <- <-
( without the arrows).
-refresh 120 is the Hz rate of your Desktop, for example..,
-refresh 120 = Monitor have 120 Hz,
-refresh 144 = Monitor have 144 Hz …
Change it to your Setup.
-dx12 let HLL start with DirectX12. This will give yout maybe 10 – 20 FPS.

°Go into your HLL Steam folder,
°click first left on HLL.exe then click right.
°go into properties and then combatibility
°follow the steps on the pictures
°Put a mark onFullscreen optimization
°Click on High DPI settings and set a mark on DPI settings overwrite
°Appy and done
Hope it works for your as good as for me.
Nvidia-Control Panel
click right mouse button and choose Nvidia Control Panel, or Press Windows button on your keyboard and type Nvidia, then choose Nvidia Control Panel.
Now it should open a Window from Nvidia, click on Manage 3D settings and go to Programsettings – Not the Global settings!

These 3 settings are the main performance Killer..
- ►Lowering the FX from Epic to High.. +20FPS.
- ►Shadow quality lowering from Epic to High..: +15-20FPS
- ►SSAO from Epic to High..: +10FPS
- ►SSAO off. +10-15FPS
- ►Whenever you start the Game, first click APPY in the Graphic-settings. +20FPS
- ►Change your FOV in Gamesettings from 90 to 120. +10-15FPS
- ►Body-Despawn to lowest time ( 0,5). +10FPS
Start these Game only in Steam, because your Launchoptions (-dx12) wont work with a Shortcut.
