Overview
In this Guide, I will show you how to play Freddi Fish & Luther’s Water Worries.
1. Story – Tidal Tempest!
Freddi Fish and Luther are going on a picnic. Luther discovers a whirlpool, Freddi tells him not to go in. Luther then gets sucked in and must find his way out.
2. The Junior Arcade Series

3. The Main Menu
Welcome to Freddi Fish & Luther’s Water Worries! Are you ready to play a Fun & Exciting Game?
Main Menu Options
New Game (Single Player):
Start a 1-Player Game from the Beginning.
Old Game (Single Player):
Continue your 1-Player Game from a Saved Profile.
New Game (Multiplayer):
Start a 2-Player Game from the Beginning.
Old Game (Multiplayer):
Continue your 2-Player Game from a Saved Profile.
Melee:
Survival Mode Game
Quit:
Exits to Windows.
Have Fun!
4. Profile Select Screen
On this screen, you’ll need to select or a Create Profile Save before you can start playing Water Worries.
You can use your Keyboard or Mouse to enter a Profile Name or select a Profile Name on the List. You can even change the color of your name. If there’s a Profile Name you don’t want, press the DELETE Button or press the GO BACK Button to return to the Main Menu. Once you’ve selected a Name from the Profile List or entered a New Profile Name, press the GO Button to start playing Water Worries. Up to 75 Profile Names can be saved here.
Profile Letter Key (NOTE: There are 26 Letters in the Alphabet):
A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J
K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T
U, V, W, X, Y, Z, Spacebar & Backspace
Profile Colors:
1. Yellow
2. Blue
3. Red
4. Green
5. White
6. Black
NOTE: If you Start a New Game with the Same Profile Name,
your Saved Progress will be Reset and you’ll restart at Level 1.
5. Level Select
Are you ready to Play Water Worries?
Use the UP or DOWN Arrows to select a Level to start. However, you can only play Levels that you’ve already been to or progressed to. After you’ve chosen a Level to start on Press the GO Button to start Playing or the STOP Button to return to the Main Menu.
6. Junior Helper
Like many of the Junior Arcade games, Maze Madness features a Junior Helper option. It is found by moving the mouse to the bottom of the screen while in the level selection menu.
This particular junior helper has two choices: Unlimited Tries & Urchin Suit On
Unlimited Tries: This is the Unlimited Lives Cheat.
Urchin Suit On: This is the Invinciblity Cheat.
7. Gameplay & Items
In this game, you shoot bubbles with a slingshot. If you miss the bubbles, they will pop when they reach the surface and the water level will decrease slightly. When the water level reaches about 1/5, or the character’s height, then the level will be lost and have to be restarted. In total, there are 100 levels. There are also bonus levels where you try to catch pearls that are falling. Black pearls are worth more than white ones.
You Have Infinity Ammo for your Slinghot but firing too much will Tire Freddi/Luther Out and they can’t shoot for a few seconds. (Which is kind of like your Overheat System).
Some of the bubbles carry objects, such as worm doodles and octopuses. A certain number of of brown worm doodles are required on each level to complete it, starting from 3 on the first level.

Worm Doodles: Collect them all to finish each level
HE Logo (Super Dupper Ammo): Freedi/Luther will not Tire when firing for a Short Duration.
HE Logo (Water Increase): Raises the Water Level.
Urchin Suit: Protects Freddi Fish/Luthers from Bubbles for a short duration.
BONUS Letters: Collect these to Enter the Bonus Level
Sea Urchins: Multiplies your score?
Bonus Items
White Pearls: Collect these for Extra Points
Black Pearl (1UP): Grants you an Extra Life.
Enemies (Avoid these)
Wiggler: Drunk Shot Accuracy & Movement
Octopuss: Reduces Shot Accuracy
Jellyfish/Seaweed: Paralyzes Freddi/Luther
8. Worlds & Levels
The game consists of 50 levels with a variety of themes. Once you’ve beaten all 100 Levels, you’ll be full from eating Worm Doodles!
10. Secret – Full CD-ROM Install (ScummVM)
Want to play Freddi Fish & Luther’s Water Worries without the Standalone
or Super Duper Arcade Vol. 1 CD-ROM? Then I’ll show you how to do so.
First, download the ScummVM Emulator here:

Then, follow these steps:
1. Insert your Freddi Fish & Luther’s Water Worries on a Stick Standalone
or Super Duper Arcade Vol. 1 CD into your Disc Drive.
2. Click on QUIT at the autorun.
3. Open the CD
4. Create a new Folder on your C Drive and Name it: “HEGames”.
5. Create a New Folder in your HEGames Folder & Name it “FreddiWater”
6. Copy the Freddi Fish & Luther’s Maze Madness Standalone
or the Super Duper Arcade Vol. 1’s Freddi Fish & Luther’s Water Worries
CD Files to your FreddiWater Folder on your Hard Drive.
7. Run the ScummVM Installer & follow the instructions shown.
8. DON’T Open Freddi Fish & Luther’s Water Worries just yet.
If you’re using a newer computer, you’ll need to use the ScummVM Emulator.
9. Open ScummVM
10. Select “ADD GAME”
11. Find the folder where Freddi Fish & Luther’s Water Worries is Installed on your Hard Drive,
select CHOOSE & then select OK.
After that, the game should be added to the ScummVM Library.
12. Highlight Freddi Fish & Luther’s Water Worries,
then Double-Click on it to start or select START.
13. Enjoy
11. ScummVM Basic Commands
Here are the Basic Commands for the ScummVM UI:
F5 = Options Menu (Volume Contol, Show Text/Speech/Both, Subtitle Speed)
. = Skip Line of Text
Esc = Skip Cutscene
Spacebar = Pause Game
F8 = Restart Game
Ctrl 0-9 = Load Game Save State 0-9
Alt 0-9 = Save Game State 0-9
Alt X/Ctrl Z = Quit
Alt + Enter = Fullscreen/Windowed Mode
