Solution = Edit Config File
Visit the following folder in your File Explorer.
C:Users**USER NAME**AppDataRoamingWarner Bros. Interactive EntertainmentLEGO DC Super-villains
Open the “PCCONFIG.TXT” file in NotePad.
Line 8 says “Windowed”, on the far right is the number 0, change this to a 1 instead.
Line 10 says “BorderlessWindow”, this will also be a 0, change it to 1.
Save the file and close.
Now click play and enjoy yourself!
What is the cause of this?
Honestly … no clue!
The Windows tool Event Viewer kept saying there was an error like:
My GIGABYTE M27F monitor failed to open LEGO DC Super-Villains HOWEVER my secondary monitor, an old Samsung SyncMaster P2350 opened in full-screen with no issues.
I thought it might be the refresh rate but turning the dial down from 144Hz to 60Hz made no difference on the M27F.
After getting it to work on the P2350 I enabled windowed mode and simply dragged it onto the M27F … oddly enough it continued to work.
Thankfully editing the Config file is fair easier than switching the main display in windows every time I want to play the game and with Borderless Window there isn’t much difference at all.
