There is a way to get ED-E the instant you reach Primm! Depending on how much you’ve done up to this point this level could be 2-6.
Scrap Metal
Almost all the time, there is 1 Scrap in Victor’s Shack in Goodsprings. The other 2 are in Primm next to ED-E, but 1 or 2 also may spawn at Lone Wolf Radio.

Scrap Electronics
The only set location for Scrap Electronics this early is Lone Wolf Radio. There are two Scrap Electronics at Lone Wolf Radio, along with the occasional chance of one spawning next to the Silenced .22 Pistol in the Goodsprings General Store.

Sensor Module’s
North of the Goodsprings General Store, a Sensor Module will be found in a trailer. There are also 2 guaranteed to spawn at Lone Wolf Radio.

So what is Lone Wolf Radio, anyway?
So right here on the map, south of the Goodsprings Source, is a trailer called Lone Wolf Radio. It contains TONS of miscellaneous items used for repair and science. It has almost everything you would need for ED-E. So what you have to do is head south of the Goodsprings Source, and up the ridge. You may have to kill several Gecko’s, so beware!
