How to improve the AA by removing the blurry anti-aliasing effect on the game.
Fixing the AA blur with ReShade
This is a simple and easy guide on how to reduce or remove the blur the anti-aliasing AA puts on your game.
After using reshade with it its a huge difference for me, for the best.
It also has 0 performance impact on the FPS’s (at least for me).
1) Download ReShade from [link]
2) Run the exe. , locate your install folder and select the ffxv_s.exe.
Select Direct3D 10+ and when the option pop’s up chose to download additional shaders.
3) Select Direct3D 10+ and when the option pop’s up chose to download addicional shaders.
Choose from the list the effect, ok and it’s done! You can select other effects like LumaShapen, Clarity or AdaptativeSharpening too and improve even more the quality of the image.
EDIT: Right now im using FilmicAnamorthSharpen + Clarity + HighPassShapen.
4) When you open the game, press Shift + F2, press continue and then edit your sharpening settings and you are done! Add an on/off toggle keybutton to turn on and off the effect and you will see the amazing difference.
