Overview
A short guide on how to get good at Paladins. *****OUTDATED*****
Overview
Paladins is a team based shooter desinged around certian objectives. There are only a handful of maps and must include a king of the hill style objective point, and a payload that you have to push. Paladins is a fast paced 5v5 team shooter.
Team compositions
Most new people to the game will instantly pick a damage character. I disagree with this, if you want to have a balanced team comp, you should have 1 tank, 1 support, 1 flanker, and 2 dps characters. Of course you can mix and match the flanker and the dps. I can’t stress enough how important Tanks and Healers are, Tanks can stay on the point while the rest of the team takes out the enemy team. A healer is always useful, without one usually one team will get wiped and the other team will steam role you. If you see your team have 3 damage dealers, think about picking a support or a tank!
Things to all ways do
1.Usually when your team is holding the point you want to get on it. This doesn’t just help the point tick faster but will allow you to keep possession of the point if a team mate dies. I can’t stress enough how important staying on the point is. I have lost many games just because my team won’t get on the point.
2. Know what items to buy, sometimes consider buying something other than damage items. Consider buying faster ultimate charge or shots that reduce healing. By doing this you can counter a lot of characters and give your team a better chance to win.
3. Please pick a tank or a support once in a while. A tank or a support can usually be more valuable then an extra dps. Providing a shield or health to allies can make all the diffirence in a giant team fight.
