Overview
This is for the night trader, it took me a while to figure this out, so I am telling you how to do all that I figured out. Please like and favorite, it helps with visibility.
trading
To trade with the night trader, you go up to her hot air balloon, which can be found by a balloon on the map, and push E. This will allow you to trade. Use W S A D to navigate what is up for sale, and push E to select, after pushing E, there is a conformation page where you either use the cursor to click the check-mark, or you push E again and that will subtract your studs and give you the item. Her prices are listed when you select an item.
What to buy
Sometimes it can be difficult to figure out what to buy, the extra heart gives you a bonus life slot, so that is good. I find it best to look for weapons and anything needed for new quests before buying the heart, as it is expensive. One of the best things for you do have, is the bombs, so get those first when they show up. Do not buy multiple of the same bomb, ie: two big bombs, as bombs have infinite uses.
selling
This part tells you how to sell using the night trader. You can sell almost any item with the night trader for studs that can be used to buy things. To sell, after you have gone up to the night trader and pushed E, you push F and select what you are going to sell by navigating with W S A D or the cursor and push E to select the item, then use the – and + to change the amount, it will also tell you how much you will get from selling something. To finish selling and go back to buying, you click the cursor on the back arrow at the top left of the screen.

It took me a while to find this out, there might be a different way to, but I have not found it yet, if I do it will come out. To exit the night trader, once you are done buying and selling, go to the buying page by pushing the back arrow at the top left of the screen if you are in selling, and push C, that’s all!
Getting more studs
I know what you are thinking, ‘HOW AM I GOING TO GET ALL OF THE STUDS!’ I have found a way that should not get out of date, you need to use the discovery tool. If you are in the night trader, exit, (instructions above). Place a bunch of gem crates, (I can’t remember what they are called, will check soon) smash them and collect the gems. Then go back into the night trader and sell all the gems, then you can buy whatever you want!😉
