Overview
This guide will show you how to complete all the achivements needed to get the new unlockable character, Steampunk Mrs. Foster. Steampunk Mr. Foster is required to unlock Steampunk Mrs. Foster and this guide will not go over the old Steampunk Mr. Foster achievements.NOTE: This guide is a few years old now. Not certain everything still works
Introduction
YOU CAN ONLY UNLOCK THIS CHARACTER DURING THE SUMMER EVENT. Sorry 🙁
This guide aims to help anyone that needs to complete the achievements necessary to unlock the Steampunk Mrs. Foster character. Unlocking the achievements should be easiest in solo on beginner but I wrote this guide from doing the achievments in multiplayer. Either way works.
This guide will be updated as I complete more achievements. Community help is always appreciated so if anyone has screenshots (or video) on how to complete an achievement just let me know in the comments. I don’t really like getting a bunch of friend requests just to talk for a little bit so just post in the comments and I’ll add you as a friend if we need to talk further. Thank you!
Note that you MUST have Steampunk Mr. Foster already unlocked in order to get Steampunk Mrs. Foster. If you do not yet have him the achievemnets are currentky bugged and will be fixed soon.
Note #2: It seems that many people are having a glitch where they can’t unlock Steampunk Mrs. Foster. It is just a bug that should be fixed soon but until then here are some ways that people have claimed they fixed the bug:
- Double check you have all the achivements! Even the original Punkd… you never know if you messed up
- The most common strategy to fix the bug is getting a hunting shotgun in solo and useing the alt-fire to shoot a group of clots or a scrake. Many people say this fixes it but I have no clue if it may fix it
- Some people say redoing the carnival games fixes it too
Achievements Needed
In order to unlock Steampunk Mrs. Foster you must complete certain achievements. The first of which is called “Punk’d” and is from last years summer slideshow event (unlock Steampunk Mr. Foster). If you do not have this achievement you can not get Steampunk Mrs. Foster.
As dictated in the above “Mrs. Punkd” Achievement you must complete 2 matches of normal or higher difficulty on Steamland (One standard and One objective) and you must complete 4 out of the 6 following:
- Hide and Go Puke:
You must find and destroy all 50 Clown Dolls - Arcade Gamer:
You must complete the 3 arcade games on the map - Full Charge:
Have 5 breaker boxes 100% repaired all at the same time. - Golden 3 Crown Note:
In objective mode get all 3 gold bars without the carriers of the gold bars taking any damage while holding them. - Extended Motion Protector:
Protect the Ringmaster in Objective mode during the escort mission so he is hit less than 15 times. - Guardian Assault Protector:
Protect the Ringmaster in Objective mode during the defense mission so he is hit less than 15 times.
My personal recommendation would be to complete these 4 as they are the easiest:
- Hide and Go Puke
- Arcade Gamer
- Full Charge
- Golden 3 Crown Note
Achievement 1: Hide and Go Puke
Throughout the map on Steamland there are 50 Clown dolls hidden. All 50 need to be shot, blown up, or knifed in a game in order to unlock the achievement. This is one of the hardest achievements to get so make sure you have a weapon with a scope and have the difficulty set to begginer. Having friends is always good too!
Doll 1: To the left of you as you spawn
Doll 2: In the spawn area to the right a little. Up in the canopy.
Doll 3: Outside of spawn area to the right corner in an ally.
Doll 4: Straight outside of spawn on the tall tower. Hard to see.
Doll 5: Outside of spawn make a left and go all the way to the end of the path. Should be in the corner.
Doll 6: Right above doll 5. Perched on the balcony, slightly hard to see.
Doll 7: Inside the window on the right side of the entrance to the pier in front of the first trader.
Doll 8: Inside first trader on top of the ventilation pipes. Hard to see and easy to miss.
Doll 9: On the fountain as you enter the pier.
Doll 10: This one is a tricky one. You may need a scoped weapon to shoot the bugger out of the pipe ontop of the clocktower.
Doll 11: This one is at the top of the ramp that is outside the second trader.
Doll 12: Outside the second trader on the top of the doorway.
Doll 13: Inside the second trader.
Doll 14: Next to the vending machine under the stairs.
Doll 15: Inside the vending machine next to Doll 14.
Doll 16: To the right of the Spanner Toss.
Doll 17: Sitting there like a little ♥♥♥♥ at the spanner toss.
Doll 18: This one technically isn’t in the hole but throw a grenade at the far right hole and you’ll kill one.
Doll 19: Near the spanner toss next to the robot.
Doll 20: Near the Robot under the ramp
Doll 21: This one is a head of a dead guy near the robot

Doll 23: There is a doll on top of the “Test your Strength” game.
Doll 24: On the telescope seat there is a doll looking at the lighthouse.

Doll 26: There is also a doll under the swings that are out of the map.
Doll 27: This guy is hiding underneath a cage to the front left of the Ferris Wheel.
Doll 28: This doll is on the left curl of the mustache at the Ferris Wheel.
Doll 29: There is a doll to the right of the mustache on top of the speaker.
Doll 30: This doll is hiding behind some crates and is right behind you if you are directly below Clown 29.
Doll 31: This Doll is at the center of the Ferris Wheel. He can be annoying to get.
Doll 32: There is a doll on top of a pipe behind the Ferris wheel.
Doll 33: At the back entrance to the Ferris Wheel Trader is another Doll.
Doll 34: On top of the Ferris Wheel is a doll in plain sight.

Doll 36: At the Farris Wheel Trader there is a doll in one of the poles.
Doll 37: At the very far right corner behind the Ferris Wheel there is a doll hidden behind some crates.
Doll 38: To the Left of the Ferris Wheel looking out to the lighthouse is another doll next to a trash can.
Doll 39: Near Doll 38 is another hidden in this kiosk.
Doll 40: To the right of the Ferris Wheel is this guy inside of a fortune teller type game.
Doll 41: Looking out to the ocean on the right side of the Ferris Wheel you will see a Doll in the rocks.
Doll 42: This doll is a little to the right of last one and is disguised as a lamp.
Doll 43: The last doll is near doll 42 (lamp doll)
Doll 44: Another doll is hiding under a bench to the right of the fortune teller doll.
Doll 45: Above the Clot Arcade game is a nasty doll hidden under the ramp. You will need to throw a grenade to get it.
Doll 46: This doll is hidden under the building in the center of the map. I shot it from where the ramp of doll 45 is located.
Doll 47: At the Cafe to the very right of the map is a doll on a table.
Doll 48: Near doll 47 down an ally is this doll.
Doll 49: In the center building (the one that doll 46 is under) there is a doll sitting in a chair.
Doll 50: This doll has his butt sticking out of a trashcan near doll 48.
Achievement 2: Arcade Gamer
To get this achievement you must complete the three arcade games:
- Pop the Clot
- Test your Strength
- Grenade Toss
Pop the Clot:
One of the easier arcade games. All you have to do is shoot all the heads. Make sure the purple confetti comes out when you finish. That is your marker that you completed the game.
Test your Strength:
Another easy game. Just throw a grenade down at the base of the game and win! Once again check for the purple confetti before moving on.
Grenade Toss
The hardest of the three games is the grenade toss. I found it easiest to take out my knife when I was aiming my grenades. Just toss a grenade into each hole and watch it explode into a mist of purple confetti. Once you make it into all three you complete the game.
By completing these 3 games you should unlock the achievement!
Achievement 3: Full Charge
This achievement (like all the other objective achievements) requires teamwork (unless playing solo on beginner, should be easy enough). There are 5 fuse boxes that will be attacked by Specimen. All you have to do is split up and have everyone repair them and guard them. The faster everyone can repair their boxes when the round starts the easier it is to get the achivement.
All boxes only need to be 100% for a second or so, after that you don’t have to guard them so much. On my first try it was really easy because my team worked together but other times that I have played people have been preoccupied with blowing up clowns or they weren’t guarding all the fuse boxes. As long as you work as a team it should be an easy achievement.
Achievement 4: Golden 3 Crown Note
This achievement REQUIRES good teamwork. If you are playing solo on beginner then it should be easy. Just don’t let anything touch you! Playing solo allows you to control what happens instead of trusting random players to not mess up. However, some may prefer multiplayer so the rest of this section is about multiplayer strategy.
In order to get all 3 things of gold back to the drop-off the entire team will need to stick together. The best strategy that I came across was to pick up the gold one at a time. This way the entire team can protect the player carrying the gold.
The team should have some people in front of the courier and some people behind him/her. This way you can pick off the baddies before they reach the gold. Our team stuck to the sides of the piers and to the rooftops where it was narrow and not many specimen could attack from the sides. By far, the biggest threat are the flesh pounds and scrakes. The sirens can be picked off from a distance (and should be) but the big baddies pose a threat to the courier. The big guys should be drawn away from the courier, the courier should flee another direction, or if you have the firepower, you should focus fire on them. The player carrying gold should also be on the offensive but they should be careful not to attack the flesh pounds or scrakes, otherwise they may charge at him/her.
This may take a couple times to get completed, even with a good group. It all comes down to strategy and luck with monster spawns. As long as the big guys are kept away it should be easy to escort the courier (in theory).
Achievements 5 and 6: Extended Motion Protector & Guardian Assault Protector
These two are annoying achievements to complete. Playing solo on beginner should be the easiest way to get them. To complete these achievements you must escort/defend the ringmaster without letting him get hit more than 15 times.
While escorting the ringmaster it is important you have the best firepower you have to offer. You need to do crowd control and keep everything away from him. The hardest part is the fact that while escorting the old man you get swarmed with big enemies. The scrakes and fleshpounds pose a serious threat and extreme precaution should be made while attempting this achievement. Sometimes it will take a couple tries but when playing on beginner it shouldn’t be extremly hard.
The defending mission is a little bit easier because the man isn’t moving around. All you have to do is defend the guy for a couple minutes. Plenty of grenades and a demolitions expert are handy on this one because you can just place bombs down in the beginning of the round to get an easy edge. Shooting specimen from the sides and top of the ferris wheel is easy (especially because some get stuck on the stairset coming down) but it is important to remember they also spawn behind you. Unsuspecting flesh pounds, scrakes, and sirens can be annoying if they spawn behind you so always keep an eye out.
Achievements 7 and 8: Complete 2 Matches
This one is easy. Just finish 2 matches of normal or higher diffuculty on Steamland. One match must be Standard Killing Floor and one match must be Objective Mode. Below are all the possible achievements to unlock.
Conclusion
I hope I’ve helped some of you get the achievements necessary to unlock Steampunk Mrs. Foster. If you think my guide was not clear, I left something out, or if you have a better strategy just voice it in the comments (please don’t add me as a friend, I can’t personally help everyone).
I’d like to thank Tripwire Interactive for the continued support on such a great game!
