Overview

Continuing my series of guides, I want to introduce to you Gunner.

Introduction/meta gameplay

In my opinion, Gunner is the most realible bitsoldier(btw, we decided to call our heroes as bitsoldiers). Statistically, he always gets his kills and never has a failure game. I think, this bitsoldier is the best to start with to sort out what is going on and how to play Deployment.

Weapons

Playing as Gunner you can choose one of two automatic weapons: SMG(left) and Triplegun(right).

SMG has more damage, but it’s harder to aim comparing with Triplegun.
I think these weapons are equal. Everything depends on your taste. Nothing unusual.

Ability

Gunner’s ability is called “Berserker mode”. Rage obscures the gunner’s mind, lowers his pain threshold, and his shots gain increased damage. If you see an enemy and ability is ready: USE IT!

Perks

What time is it? It’s dondo perks time!

  • A conjuring trick – reduces reload time.
  • Automatic madness – increases damage dealt by gunner attacks.
  • There can never be too mach bullets, right? – I think this name describes everything 🙂
  • Critical strike – give a chance to crit.
  • Hard to reload, sweet to shoot – increases damage and fire rate after reload.
  • Is the clip half full? – increases fire rate when ammo is low.

We can see two groups of perks: 1. that influencing on a reload time(clip); 2. that influencing on a damage. On my opinion, the best way to line up perks is to take one from first group and another from the second. So your upgrades will be balanced and you will take maximum profit.

Bitsoldier matchups

50%/50% versus other bitsoldiers, but there is something that highlights Gunner over others… And it is that he always ready to fight!
