HDR Lighting Fix

Overview

Does your game remove lighting all of a sudden and ruin your atmospheric gaming experience? This should help.

^ Don’t you hate it when that happens? ^

First, open your console with the [`] or [~] key (after enabling console in advanced settings)

Next, enter these commands, one by one, in the following order:

mat_dxlevel 90
mat_hdr_level 2
mat_hdr_enabled
mat_fullbright 0

Note that this is not a permanent fix and as such, you may have to enter these commands once every start-up. I’m hoping Valve fixes it soon though.
