Overview
Shortcuts and easy combinations that makes your overlord a wrecking-antigod of destruction-ball
Introduction
Ok, first, let me tell you this.
I explain further down, but he is your best bet to get TONS of exp. Just retreat when he is about to die.
The game is RANDOM, very.
Many events, many questions, many answers, how much EXP you get and from which category, and when an event gives you a good result and when not…
All of that? RANDOM.
What is not random? Character affinities, enemies movement and boss fight EXP.
This is just telling you, to save a lot, (you could save each week) for example.
Second important thing to tell you, the game is quite DARK. People die, and that’s what this game is about, sending your family to die against a big ass titan going nuts.
So, if you are reading this before getting the game or before you do much in it, let me tell you that your prefered girl (mine was Levia) is going to die… in-game, in screen time, and people are going to mourn her.
Last thing, PLEASE, japanese developers, keep doing games this well adapted to English!!! It’s been a while since I read a good port to English without cringing about bad translation/adaptation/writting style!
Warning: English is my second language, that’s why sorry about typos and grammar errors beforehand, because there will be.
Extra Information
There is a thread in the forum that helps a bit with event choices, give it some love:
[link]And now it’s a guide, so more love, you’ll have more info for runs:
[link]There is a post in which they explain best gifts to give the girls:

Which is a bit annoying so I made it in an excel file so it could be better examined (exploit filters to its limits):
Tips and Info you may not know
Of course you need damage, but against Trillion, for survavility you need SPD so he takes time to unleash his telegraphs on you instead of a single turn.
It wasn’t until end of first girl that game told me about diagonal movement… quite late, VERY late…
You CAN move diagonally, it’s just that you can’t do it only with d-pad, you NEED to move camera diagonally to move this way (make sure to be static while turning).
This seems stupid, but if you were blocked to moving only vertically and horizontally, some telegraphs could be unavoidable (like first miasma on ground).
And you can combine diagonal movement with movement skills to jump over walls in maze, is FUN!!
Of course, upgrading stats is important, and active too (they come next), but when a single skill lets you do triple damage when used correctly… thats a thing, combined with another skill that lets you triple your base stats over time.
Examples of this:
Solid Mind: while you dont move MANUALLY you get a multiplier to damage (MAX at +200% damage) (Skills that move your char doesn’t count as movement)
Last Sprint: Start combat with lesser stats, but they keep growing over time (MAX at +200% base stats [including equipment+weapon+seals]). It lasts for whole combat.
As per User urmanin, this info may be wrong (haven´t checked):
Originally posted by urmanin:Last sprint doesn’t max out at +200%, it has no cap and will keep raising your stats until they’re 999.
Ambush: Attacking an emey at its back assures critical hit (not really, but helps) (don’t seem to work with skills)
Strength: normal attacks makes enemies be pushed 1 square, not letting them counterattack of explode in your face (quite good for maze and adds-on from boss).
Extra EXP/Gold/drop rate: self-explained.
This game is similar to many roguelikes in which enemies move after you move and so on, so, if you can move to places enemies can’t you got the upperhand.
The best part is moving around evading big one shotters telegraphs from Trillion and for moving nice you need the main skills:
Charge (level 1, is enough): hits one square, move to next one.
Flame Spear: (level 1 is enough too): hits in front of you, and jumps 3 square to the front (2 squares from where you hit)
There is an optional skill thats move you 1 square for exploiting Solid Mind while moving around.
The problem with active skills is the mana cost, a stat that is usually forgot, in this game, mostly you too should forget about it because…
Additional notes from user RelentlesslyLurking about active skills:
Originally posted by RelentlesslyLurking:Once you’ve overkilled Mokujin at least once, you can continue to get 9999 XP from him until your overlord is maxed out or he can’t imitate Trillion anymore. It seems as though there’s some room for some stat overflow, as the damage I’ve dealt to him after wasting a bunch of turns while already at 999 Attack has far outstripped what I got if I took him out right away at that point.
Stacking up max level Swing Charge, Solid Mind, and Final Sprint with around 500 “Base” Attack power at the start of the fight, I’ve been consistently dealing 300B damage with a max level Schuzrum Fang. Doing the fight with completely maxed stats, I cleared 421B with some lucky crits. The hardest part at that point is keeping your Swing Charge going without getting swarmed by his trash mob summons, but if you kill them passively with Counterattack, it benefits from your Swing Charge without expending it.
Not exactly, as they are a temporal points not rechargeable (usually) and they are used before mp AND hp… so if an enemy hits you, you are losing very needed mana. So evade EVERYTHING!
There are to options for gifts handling, saving for 2nd playthrough, or not. Your choice I’m a fan of giving every single present to the actual girl which gives 500k o 1000k affection points, once you reach 3rd or 4th girl you’ll have a good supply of items and a good collection of them, that will get replenished with time.
If you want extra affection points, buy 5 individual items (100g is the cheapest) at shop, or 3 if you want to save some money. First item gives 100k AP, 2nd 80K and 3rd 60K (240 AP each day for 300g or 280 AP for 400g, your call).
I assure you that buying 3 times an item each day is ANNOYING… but oh well. it’s a cheap boost.
Not much to say about that, the higher your CAP stat is (even through equipment) the more gold you’ll get on an ORDER command. Be careful with Final Sprint though, because at level 1 you lose 80% of your base stats (40% loss at level 3, but costs a lot), and that affects strongly to your CAP stat.
When the girl has to go to fight against Trillion, there are 3 possible outcomes:
-She kills Trillion, game ends, happy ending, YAY!!
-She gets killed by Trillion, she dies, it’s shown on screen, you can try another girl or game over…
-She retreats/Trillion crosses the defense line (explanation ahead).
In this case, your girl does NOT die or get swaped if you have more tries at Trillion (usually, each girl has 3 tries, unless she gets to 0 Affection Points during fight), if I’m correct, you get 3 tries for each girl, until Trillion gets to less than 300b hp in which case, you have only ONE try.
Once you retreat, you get more Cycles/Weeks to empower your girl, so, if you want your girl to train a bit more, make here retreat until last try.
I have yet to test this, but from what I can tell and have read, if you retreat at start of battle against Trillion, you lose half your affection points (this is tested) and destroys a lot of squares. BUT, if you let Trillion cross defense line, you keep the Affection points you had during fight (surely more than half) AND Trillions doesn’t eats as much hell as if you retreated (yet to test, but possible).
So, moving around Trillion and wasting turns is your best bet to keep Affection points and parts of hell if you want to make your girl be at max stats.
And do not worry, for what I know, every girl has 3 tries (gotta test this to be 100% sure).
Keep in mind that once Trillion gets to 300b hp, you have ONLY ONE CHANCE with everygirl and there is no more Mokujin.
Got yet to test it but:
Publicado originalmente por ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥:
I believe its advancement has nothing to do with how much damage you did to it. When you retreat, it alway eats 22 piece of land. When it cross the line, it eats 14. When you dies, it eats 10.
Getting exp
As I started, the best bet to getting EXP (TONS OF EXP) is the only not random thing in this game, ENEMY BOSS FIGHT.
But not the real boss fight, because hes got a trillion hp. Instead, you use Mokujin fights (at end of each week).
In this fight, you have to take down Mokujin, but that’s what you should NOT do.
I repeat, DON’T KILL MOKUJIN until second girl at least. Just hit him a lot, leave him with low hp and retreat.
All said, that should give you ~90EXP in each category for each fight, which is nice.
Mokujin is our target, but for earning LOTS of exp we should anhilate it’s first hp bar of 500M hp with a serious overkill (aproximately 40 times that in damage).
If you do well, that should earn the marvelous number of 4000 EXP in each category, in only ONE FIGHT.
You need to exploit Final Sprint and Solid Mind, together with 333 ATK (via seals, equipment and other sources in this random game…) and use an AOE active skill. Because for each square you hit an enemy with, you’ll do full skill damage.
Example:
A square skill like this one:
x[]x
[][][]
x[]x
If it does 70% physical damage and you hit an enemy with 3 squares, you do 210% physical damage (and each one can crit)
Just with that explanation should be enough to help you do a good combo +AoE skill damage + build alone (you could use magic skills or physical skills, it doesn’t really matter, and remember that some skills get bigger areas with higher levels)
Final Sprint (duh): This skills got 3 levels, each makes fights faster, and all share same max value (200% stats), the problem is that first level takes away 80 percent of your base stats for every action you do from then on events, so you can wait until you are ready for mokujin trick to purchase this skill.
This, I have yet to test it, but basically, when a girl dies, a part of her exp goes to next girl (Sorry Levia… snif…).
Some users did test, and first girl gave like ~20% of her exp to next girl; while second girl passed ~40% exp to next girl.
That’s why, wait until “second girl” to first kill Mokujin
Because when you kill him, he gets stronger and gets more HP.
If it were only double HP, it could be acceptable, but second time he gets 2,500 M EXP.
Some math here: 40 times 500M is 20.000M (easily doable with an AOE with 999 ATK); but 40 times 2500M is 100.000M (quite hard to achieve, even if you can and will do ok with it).
Conclusions
With this exploit it’s easy to earn exp, and you could even kill boss earlier, I’ll just make you know that once you put boss under 300 Billion HP you won’t be able to fight against mokujin again and you’ll understand why earning exp is sooooooooo annoying without this trick.
Enjoy game, is well written, is nice, is different and the art is marvelous.
