A guide to dome armored hover craft, showing the pros and cons of this design along with the creative posibilities of this style of bot.
Intro
Hover domes are a specific design made especially for the hover-craft class. Its exactly what you think, a dome shaped hover-craft. The dome allows gun fire to reach every angle when you are shooting, and provides excellent armor for the important things you keep within!
Inside the dome
Here is an example of how the guns mount. If your shooting an enemy at an angle, you will have 5 guns facing them.
As you can see, the edges are smoothed out, and top is flat.
On the bottom, it is curved so that you can redirect fire from below, to the sides rather that to your pilot seat.
The pilot seat itself, along with anything else important you want, is inside
Hoverblades are placed on the inside of each edge…
And gund are mounted like so (Larger guns require larger mounts, but the dome still works for higher tiers.)

I like my robots to have function, as well as form. So here is a turtle idea i came up with that works in tier 5.
The legs hide my thrusters.
Im sure you can come up with some better designs on your own. Maybe a tier 7 lemon, or a tier 9 crab!
