Originally posted at HLL forums by me, this is a repost of my findings how the point system works in Hell Let Loose. I will repost my original HLL post here for better visibility since currently HLL forums can’t be viewed without registration. Breakdown

These four symbols indicates different categories:
COMBAT (fire)
ATTACK (sword)
DEFENCE (shield)
SUPPORT (hammer)

COMBAT POINTS
…point(s) for killing/destroying X
+100 Tiger
+60 Panther
+50 Sherman
+30 Luchs
+30 Stuart
+5 Commander
+4 Engineer
+4 Machine-Gunner
+3 AT
+3 Automatic Rifleman
+2 Assault
+2 Officer
+2 Sniper
+2 Spotter
+1 Rifleman
+1 Medic
+1 Support
+1 Tank Commander
+1 Tank Crewman

Notes: If you kill a tank with a crew inside, you get points for tank+crew. For example if you destroy Stuart with 3 crewmen inside, you will get 30+3 =33 points. Destorying empty Stuart gives you 30 points.

ATTACK/DEFENCE POINTS
+5 ATTACK points for staying 60 seconds inside enemy territory
+5 DEFENCE points for staying 60 seconds inside own territory

Notes: Being on NEUTRAL territory in the start of the game does not add to points. Staying inside of strong point has also no influence on points. You also don’t get points for capturing territories.

SUPPORT POINTS
There are two classes that has more support specific points: Commander & Engineer. There are also other classes that has only one feature that gains support points. Commander and Engineer points are listed per role, rest are in bigger group.

Commander Only
+100 Bombing Run
+75 Strafing Run
+50 Supply Drop
+50 Reinforce/Encourage/Final Stand

Officer
+25 Garrison
+5 Outpost

Engineer Only
+25 repair station
+25 per node
+2 AT mine
+1 AP mine
+1 Hedgehog

WIP: Engineer’s repairing points are missing.

Others
+10 Supply (Support)
+2 Revive (Medic)
+1 Ammo Box (Rifleman)
+1 Bandage (self or friendly)

This is what it is in the current version of the game. I’ll do my best to keep this updated along the way. Everyone is welcome to help me in that!
