How to Access DLC

Overview

Wondering how to get those DLCs that came with the GOTY edition working? Check here!

STEP I

• Navigate to your: steam/steamapps/common/Fallout 3 goty/Data folder.
• Confirm your folder looks as shown. (All .BSA and .ESM files present.)
• If they are NOT present, continue to Step II.
• If they ARE present, continue to Step III.

STEP II

This section is for those who found their data folder empty of the desired files.

• Go to your Steam Library.
• Right click on your Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition shortcut.
• Select Properties.
• Navigate to the Local Files tab as shown.
• Select Validate Game Cache. (This may take some time.)
• Allow files to install.
• Repeat Step I

STEP III

• Run Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition from your Steam Library.
• At the splash screen, select Data Files.
• Ensure all .ESM files are checked as shown.
• Run the game.
