Overview
This guide will show you how to be 100% spell/magic absorbent, which means that you will take no damage from spells that hit you while absorbing them, increasing your max magicka.
How to do it –
STEP 1:
First off, you must go and look for the Atronach stone, it is one of the better if not the best standing stones in the game and is used for many class builds. once you find it, activate the stone and it will give you the ability to absorb 50% of spells and magic that hits you, but the stone will also decrease your magicka recovery.
STEP 2:
You will need to get to skill level 100 in alteration tree. This can be done (at any level) quickly by using spells like oak, stone, iron, and ebonyflesh when entering combat. Spells like Telekinesis, and paralyze can also be used to gain xp rather fast too.
STEP 3:
After you get the skill level 100, you want to get the Atronach perk at the top of the tree.
This will let you Absorb 30% of the magic/spells that hit you.
STEP 4:
Next you will need to obtain Miraak’s robes.
You will need to kill him at the end of the dragonborn DLC main quest line to get the items obviously. Once you do that, and you already having the Atronach perk, and the Atronach Stone, which give you 80% magic/spell absorbsion combined, equiping Miraak’s robes will give you an additional 25 points which makes your total spell/magic absorbtion percentage to 105%.
105% spell absorbtion pretty much makes you immune to all spells casted at you, and combined with the dragonhide spell makes you have the armor cap, aswell as total protectin from magic.
If you are a vampire, you can also do this without having to wear the robes. All you do is make sure you have the Necromage Perk. Make sure you get the perk first before the others. After that, head over to the Atronach Stone and activate it, then the final step is to tally the Atronach Perk and your done. These perks automatically make the effects stronger with the necromage perk if you are a vampire, and in total give you 100% spell/magic absorption.
