Overview
Hey there guys and gals! It’s me, Qecci here. Today, I’ll teach you how to beat Supreme Calamitas, the final boss in the Calamity Mod, on the hardest difficulty (Death Mode), my way!
Preparations, and other mods that will help (optional)
Preparations:
Of course, use any mod with any buff potions that you desire.
Feel free to go any class, also. I used Ranger, and will also list the mods that’ll help all classes.
Mod(s) that I used when fighting her:
Ranger
Fargo’s Mutant Mod (Infinite modded ammo when at a specific amount)
AlchemistNPC Lite (Calamity Combination potion, Universal Combination potion)
Mage
Luiafk (Unlimited Mana 5)
Melee
I.. dunno.
Throwing/Rogue
Thorium, and/or Joost (Completely overhaul throwing)
Strategies
Making a pretty wide platform arena (100-200 platforms) really does help, as to reset your flight.
Her dash is really deadly, even in Death Mode. It’s best to used weapons that fire projectiles to keep your distance, and to predict when she’ll dash.
Of course, don’t attack her during those Bullet Hell phases, as she is immune to damage during that.
Best to practice using Cheat Sheet/Hero’s Mod with those Bullet Hell’s, including that first one. It does way more damage than the other’s. Getting hit there can head to a death immediately if you’re not careful.
Don’t panic at all in the first Bullet Hell, and not to move too often. Best to stick to a wall with a grappling hook during this phase. Those Hellblasts and Fireblasts are to watch out for, though.
Recommended to move vertically when Bullet Hell’s are done with, to prevent to immediately getting hit by Calamitas’ projectiles.
Fly in the direction of the Hellblasts in the Bullet Hell, but fly slowly. This will prevent from being hit by un-noticed projectiles, or dashing/ramming into them.
If her brothers are still alive, and you’re at low health, best to dodge the brother’s attacks (they are pretty easy to avoid), and heal. This is way easier when only one is alive, so it may prove as a good opportunity to regenerate health or even wait for God Slayer Cooldown to wear off.
At the end of each Bullet Hell, the projectiles will fade slowly, and disappear. When their fading, they do no damage to you, saving you some Healing Potions.
