Introduction
So you are playing stardew valley, and moneys getting tight. Parsnips aren’t doing it for you, and you need a quick buck. Fishing isn’t paying the bills like it used to, and your beginning to wonder how long you’ll be able to stay afloat. Taxes are due, and those Joja goons are giving you looks. You’ve tried everything. Farming, Mining, Fishing, even dumpster diving at the mayors house at 1 AM, but nothing is getting you any closer to your steep financial needs.
If this sounds like your current dilemma, come closer, because I have the answers you’ve been waiting for, just be warned, this scheme isn’t entirely legal, and getting caught could mean the end.
The Plan
As I have stated, this “strategy” is actually easier the earlier you attempt it. Start off by filling your inventory with trash. Shouldn’t be too hard if your in a tight spot financially. The only other things you will need are a chest (preferably empty but anything will do), and something valuable. Anything will do really, a crop, fish, or even the baguette you found in the garbage at the Saloon. Be sure to do this in a private location, close to the sell box, and DON’T TELL ANYONE.
The “Execution”
Alright, it’s 1 AM, everyone is asleep. Start by putting your valuable in the previously mentioned chest, and fill your inventory with garbage (make sure another item of your valuable is in your inventory or the chest). Go into the valuables chest, with your full inventory, and click on the valuable as if to move it. Drag the item over to the “organize” button in the chest, and spam click to your hearts content. If all goes to plan, hundreds of your valuable are on the ground, asking to be sold. Sell them all and wake up to another 20k in the bank. Rinse and repeat until you are a billionaire if you wish, just DON’T TELL A SOUL.
The Aftermath
You may think you’re in the clear, you have infinite amounts of everything you own. You have iridium tools even though you only ever found one ore. Your house is fully maxed even though you only harvested one crop. You can flatter the townspeople with as many flowers as they desire, even though you have only ever found a single one. You made it, you are the richest man in the valley, everything is under your control.

Then the problems start coming. At first their minor, you cant get infinite prismatic shards without getting one. .
Your friends wonder how you made 20k in one day. .
Your spouse, well she’s kind of dumb so she suspects nothing. .
Their onto you. Run but they run faster. Dupe hard, before you get caught. Everyone gets caught eventually. .
