Overview
This guide will tell you how to complete the 15 deliveries and get your rewards!
The Basics for Events
First things first, you need two things to get started participating in events:
- A World of Trucks account
- Your own personal truck
You also need to follow the rules specified, which can be anything.
In this case, the rules are:
Deliver 15 cargos of material and equipment either TO or FROM Big Sur Landslide on California’s Highway 1 to do your part.
Anyways, let’s get started!
World of Trucks Account
If you haven’t made one, now’s the time to make one!
First, go to the WoT (World of Trucks) website.[www.worldoftrucks.com]
Click “Join Now” in the top
Select a regristration method that applies to you, and follow the instructions.
Congratulations! You have passed the first step in collecting rewards in events!
Let’s move on to the next step.
Personal Truck
This is pretty simple.
Just buy a truck gosh darnit!
Get a bank loan!
Contracts
In order to make progress to your 15 deliveries, you need to make sure you follow this section correctly.
First off, go to “External Contracts” and nothing else than that.
No “Freight Market”, or “Quick Jobs” as they will not count towards any events ever!
JUST SO YOU UNDERSTAND
Freight Market = BAD
Quick Jobs = BAD
Anyways, how do you make sure you’re delivering to and fro the Big Sur Landslide?
Oh, just get these contracts that say “Mud Creek Slide”!
But that doesn’t mean that Mud Creek Slide has to be the receiving company, oh no, it can be the sending company aswell!
Now just uh, stay around Santa Cruz and Santa Maria and do 5 to 15 deliveries this way!
The event has been completed, thanks for everyone who participated!
If you completed the event, but don’t know how to redeem the rewards, see below!
Reap the Rewards
Once you finish the 15 deliveries, you have completed the event!
Congrats!
Anyways, when you complete the deliveries, go to your world of trucks profile
It should look something like this:

Anyways, you see the “Events” tab?
There should be a little mail icon on it, if not, open ATS (American Truck Simulator) and check to see that it says “Event Completed!” where your progress was.
Click it, it should look like this:
If you don’t see “Operation Big Sur – Your personal reward!” then make sure you check that you have completed the event.
Where it says “Already redeemed by this Steam account.”, yours should say something like “Redeem your reward!”
Click it, and you should get the stuff!
We did it! We succesfully completed the Big Sur Landslide, thanks for everyone who participated!
As per usual, I will now show you how to get your rewards for doing at least 5 deliveries.
Go to your events tab and find, “Operation Big Sur – Your community reward!”
Click the “REDEEM ON STEAM” button and sign into your steam so you can get the rewards!
