How to create an custom Shield

Overview

This guide explains how to get custom shields and has an download collection.

Shield Customization

default frame size: 65 x 65 720 x 160

1) Open faces.bmp in Paint, click the small arrow and then “paste from” 2) Add the overlay with right frame size, make it fit in the border and save 3) Replace the original faces file and make sure it keeps bmp file format Use this sites for Image converting, resize and upscale: → Online File Converter [www.online-convert.com] ❓What is this Link for? Exe files

In order to play smooth Multiplayer games one need the same versions as all fellow players. Mistakenly people think one need the patch, but actually replace exe file with current is enough. Instead of download the Patch (160 MB), one just need the exe which is sixteen times smaller. I’m not sure what difference the Patch makes, but it’s tested and verified that the exe is enough.

Versions

1.2 version

This patch was probably necessary to enable Crusader Extreme gameplay,
but this patch does not appear to change anything about normal Crusader gameplay.

1.3 version

This patch upgrades Stronghold Crusader Extreme to the new HD version,
and it will make multiple resolutions available depending on your configuration.
The maximum resolution available could be 2560×1600. Skirmish Masters is now fixed.
Stronghold Crusader HD saves skirmish results in the skmasters2.dat file within Documents. Unfortunately old skmasters.dat files from v1.0 and v1.1 no longer work with Stronghold HD. Stronghold now runs in Direct Draw compatibility mode which make the scrolling smoother.
