Overview
How to create test chambers with BEE2 Hello! In this guide you will see how to create test chambers like this: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2064524929So, let’s begin! Step 1/5: Download BEE2 BEE2: https://github.com/BEEmod/BEE2.4/releasesBEE2 Packages: https://github.com/BEEmod/BEE2-items/releases/tag/v4.36.0Download the latest versions. First, download BEE2, extract the ZIP file to any folder. Then download BEE2 Packages and extract the ZIP file to: BEE2Folderpackages (if there is no “packages” folder, create it). Step 2/5: Getting started Launch the “BEE2.exe” file. First press on the top bar: “File”> “Add game”. In the dialog, click OK, and then select the location of the PORTAL2.exe file. To check it, in Steam right click on the game “Portal 2”, then select “Properties”. In the window select: “Local files”> “Browse local files”. Copy the address and paste it in the window where you need to select the file “PORTAL2.exe”. Then select “PORTAL2.exe” and click “Open”. A window should appear with items in Puzzle Creator and non-standard ones. (I recommend changing the palette to Portal 2 Collapsed). Now you can add items from the list on the right and remove from the list on the left. In short, the items on the left that appear in Puzzle Maker and the ones on the right are custom. To add, drag the selected item from the right list to the left list, and to delete – from left to right. Step 3/5: GLaDOS, Wheatley, Cave Johnson, Style, Music Then we go to the “Export Options” window, but first if you choose a non-standard voice (eg Wheatley) I recommend disabling Cave Jonhson’s voice for Multiverse in the Style / Item Proporties window, unchecking “Multiverse Cave”. Okay, so let’s start with a custom voice. We search for “Voice” and press “…”, then choose our character. Then click “OK” and still click the rack and choose what the character has to say. Now we go to “Style”. Click “…” and choose the style that interacts with us. Now – “Skybox”. Click “…” and choose the Skybox we are interested in. Same with “Elev Vid” and “Music”. Step 4/5: Let’s build a test! Click in the “Export Options” window: ‘Export to “PORTAL2″…’. We wait, and when it ends in the dialog box, click “Yes”. Then Portal 2 will load. When it loads: Click “Community Test Chambers” > “Create Test Chamber” > “New Test Chamber”. Now you can start creating a test chamber! Step 5/5: Useful! BEE2 is compatible with Aperture Tag. If you want to save your palette: Click on the top bar in the BEE2 window: “Pallete” > “Save Pallete as…”Thanks for using my guide! I hope he helped someone!
