how to new vegas for Fallout: New Vegas

How to earn free steam points on any game.

Overview

This guide will cover one of the best tactics to get free steam points with little to no effort via guides.

Introduction

Everybody likes steam points, especially you! You like steam points so much, you decide to make a guide for points. No effort, just for points. But you don’t know how exactly. But alas, you can have help! This guide covers how YOU can make a guide with little to no effort for just points! We go over how to make the guide, tactics to use, and strategies.

The Beginning

The beginning of the guide is very simple. You just have to use a few easy-to-do steps to complete it.
First of all, the title. The title is one of the most important parts of your guide, as it is what drives people to click on your guide on the first place. Before we go ahead, you must consider your options: Will your title be something about a popular subject? Will it be about a bug people would love to abuse? Will it be about a difficult task? Or will it be completely stupid? All choices are viable, but what I find to be most effective are two things: a title about a bug (infinite money) and a title about a difficult task (how to be a Wes main). You can make the choice depending on what is on your mind, or what you think could be more effective at taking steam points from individuals.

The next step is a bit easier than the first one, and that is the branding picture to represent the guide. Almost all of the most awarded guides have images of unsettling, “cursed”, strange, or just plain weird images. Take the guide “How to earn infinite money” on TABS. The picture of this guide shows a picture of a strange looking cat, which grabs your attention and leads you to click on the guide. Take this guide for example, it is a picture of a man who appears to be wearing a mask, but if you look closer you can see the mask is actually an illusion, and he has face paint to make it look like he is wearing a mask. That image catches your attention once you realize he is not wearing a mask, leading you to click on the guide. Images that are effective are as follows:

The third step is the description of your guide. Almost every single guide that gets those steam awards has a similar description. Of course, you want to follow in their footsteps in order to get those points. Notice how the most popular guides have a description to make it look detailed or legitimate. Once again, take the guide “How to earn infinite money” and see how the description says “Very important for beginners.” Here, you can see how it uses correct grammar and spelling, gives a reason for you to click on it, and seems like it is a legit guide. You want to do this, as it will lead you down a path of many steam awards and points. What you should aim for in the description: Correct grammar and spelling, a legit feel to it, and a reason for you to click on it. Do so and you will be successful!

The fourth and final step is what sections your guide belongs to. At the bottom of the “basic guide information” page you will find a bunch of buttons asking you where your guide belongs. Since you want to reach as many people as possible for the best chance of awards, click every single one. Every single category and language you can. This is the easiest and one of the most important steps, as now when people search for a certain category, they find your guide.

Guide contents

Guide contents is where you will actually write your guide. Here, you can plan out your guide and add things you will come back to later. The first thing you will see is sections. Sections is the way your guide is organized, and is very important to make a “good” guide. If you already know exactly what you are going to do in your guide, you can plan out sections of your guide instead of just making stuff as you go along.

The second thing you will see is images. Images are not necessary to your guide, but using them will greatly help your chances of getting awards. You can add images to use for later in the image bank, so this is very helpful for planning ahead. In sections you can still add images there, making the strategy of going along making stuff with no real plan still viable. To add images, simply click the “Choose Files” button and select a file from your computer.

The third thing you will see is screenshots, which is basically the same. Then there are contributors, but since you have no friends it will be useless.

What to do in your guide

So now that you know how the guide contents work, you can create your guide. But what do you do? If you do not have it planned out, it can be frusturating and difficult. Luckily, I have some tactics for you to use in order to become successful in your journey to get them s t e a m p o i n t s.

The most successful guides have a step 1 step 2 step 3 process, so we will be using that tactic. There are other ways to do this, but I find this works the best. I’ll give you an example of how to do this:
Step 1. Open TABS
Step 2. Pick map
Step 3. Hold alt and f4 at the same time
Step 4. Bathe in success.

Guides that reuse the same jokes you have heard a hundred times over are very effective at gaining large amounts of awards/points. Common jokes that are great at snatching points: Alt f4. Amogus. Talk about how unfunny you are. A risky tactic is just saying the same word over & over, like “outdatedoutdatedoutdated” or “GETOUTOFMYHEADGETOUTOFMYHEADGETOUTOFMYHEAD”. This tactic is risky and does not yield much rewards, but if you are desperate you could go for it…un-recommended though. Remember, throughout your guide you must act legit and smart, very formal, and have correct grammar and spelling. This will make people think your guide is funny, and guess what? They will give you awards, of course!

End of guide

You have come a long journey of around 5-10 minutes, and your guide is almost finished. Now, you must add a conclusion and ending. The conclusion should say something like “Congratulations, by pressing alt f4 you have achieved infinite money!” After that, beg on your knees for awards. Put on the stupid gif that shows a mouse clicking like and favorite, like this:
Make sure it is something just like that, and put in a image threatening you to like and favorite, similar to this:

And that is it! You have achieved in creating a guide destined to make many points to fill your greedy pockets. If you follow this step by step you will achieve greatness! Or the steam algorithm will show your guide to 0 people…RNG will decide your fate!

Tips

Your guide is finished, but you need to polish it and ensure that it meets standards. Using these tips will help you be more “funny” and snatch you even more steam points.

Tip 1: Do NOT under any circumstances say the guide is a joke. That will make people considerably less likely to reward your guide.

Tip 2: Use current memes. Even if the memes are really unfunny and you do not think they would be good at all, USE THEM! As long as they are very popular it WILL WORK! Trust me!

Tip 3: Act as serious as possible. I have already said similar stuff, but this is super important! If the viewer feels like you are really trying to convince them/guide them, they will name it “funny” and give you an award to fill your ever growing hunger for points.

Extra tip: This was not included in the original guide, but because it is so important I must include it here: Make it short and to the point. Notice successful guides are only a few sentences long and make a stonking success.
