Locations of all the Essences in the game.
List of Essences and their locations
Scripted Essences:
- Wind Tower
- Magma Sanctum
- Water Garden
If you missed any of the scripted Essences, Rudo (the upper right NPC in the forge) will give you up to three.
- Artifacters’ Guild forge – One from the blacksmith (left NPC).
- Ruins of Lod – First screen, obscured by a pillar
- Disputed Island – Bottom right of the first screen
- Desert – Bottom-right corner
- Lost Cave – Top-right. Go backwards from the nearby puzzle to minimize battles.
- Haunted Swamp – Same island as the cemetery/large grave hiding the secret passage. At the southern edge slightly obscured by a dead tree.
- Butterfly Isle – Northern edge of the Isle. Normally, the bonus boss here starts immediately when you enter, so you have to beat it to get to the chest containing the Essence, BUT, if you head here as soon as you get the airship, you can grab it without fighting the boss first.
- Mystic Cave – Step into the wind after the fourth puzzle.
- Magma Sanctum – Second room, near the second puzzle, hidden behind a column, to the upper right
