Overview
This guide tells you how to install and enjoy half-life source
Step One
Install Half-Life: source
To enjoy the game you need to be able to HAVE the game.
Step Two
Install Half-Life 1. You need this to start replacing files.
Please run HL1 at least one time.
Step Three
Install Black-Mesa. You need this for source files.
Run this at least two times (note: you cannot have any maps or addons installed)
Half-Life source is:
A buggy port made by valve and shouldn’t have been made at all or at least hotfix.
Half-Life 1 is:
A very well made game made by Valve that has gone down in FPS games.
Black Mesa is:
A perfect remaster of the original Half-Life 1 with it’s own things added to the story and maps.
Step Four
Uninstall Half-Life: Source and go play the other games.
