How to fix the {Title} [Name] issue (Playername not showing properly)

Short guide about the annoying issue of the {Title} [Name] playernames . You have this issue ? Come here son !

Introduction

Hey guys and welcome to this short fix guide . Some players (like me before) have an issue with the playername in the voice game chat . Basically all the names are replaced by a single sentence : “ {Title} [Name] “.
If you have this problem , you’re on the right guide !

The majority of the players who have this issue arent using the english language in the game , for me , i used to put the french language and i had this issue . This problem is caused by an error in all language files EXCEPT ENGLISH VERSION
The only fix that work is to select the english version of the game

But Dimitri , how to switch language ?

How to fix

Its simple as hello . Just follow my pictures and in 2 minutes you’ll communicate with people ezpz .

• First please shutdown Squad

When it’s done , go to the game properties in your gamelist , right click on Squad and select properties :

You should get a window like this :

Go to “Language” section, you should see a setting with your own language in , for me its french :

Simply select the english language in 😛 :

And it’s done ! Get on Squad and kick some ass with real teammates now !
