How to gain ranks being the 3rd wheel
Apex Legends is a Battle Royale & First Person Shooter (FPS) video game. Luckily the “shooter” part is optional. Ranked mode is a survival PVE mode of Apex called DayZ. Here is a fool proof way to gain MMRs and Rank up to Plantinum and go pro by 3rd wheeling.
- Pick and main Crypto. Use your talents in the robot mini-game and enjoy buzzing around. Do not put yourself in harms way, unless your teammates have died, if they have revive them or die asap.
- Don’t like Crypto? Play Loba or Lifeline. Your are hard support position 6. All farm must go to carry.
- Pass the drop to another play in the squad. Your favourite distant corner of the map may be your drop zone of choice, but remember your teammates are the most important here, and you must be a fly and follow them towards the bright blue light.
- Drop on top of your teammate. Land and then loot the same box as your teammate in the heat of the drop fight for team moral boost. Sharing is caring.
- Never fire your gun. If you do enemies will hear you, find you, and kill you. We know already that there is no chance to win if you try and shoot back. Firing your gun may also disrupt a play by your teammates that you difficult to comprehend.
- Arrive to all fights late. If you hear shooting, do not approach, once all shooting has stopped and you see coloured boxes on the floor, come out of your hidey spot and approach the rest of the team and join for the looting.
- Immediately revive or resurect teammate. If a teammate is down you do your only and most important job asap with no regard of self. Faster the better.
- Do not expect to be revived. Being revived is not always the play. Your teammates may need your loot. If you die you can spectate and keep a careful eye on the points accumulate as your teammates continue alone. Points are more important than fun.
- Turn the gain on your partybag microphone to max. Your teammates need to be constantly reminded by your always-on microphone static that they are there to carry you and get those points for you.
- Buy all the Cosmetic Items. For easy identification your teammates will appreciate you Apex Game Pass cosmetics. Always spam your Drop dive taunt to communicate your presence to your team.
