How to get cool colors for your car

Overview

So you want to have cool colors for your car like all the other cool kids? Well, you’ve come to the right place.

Disclaimer

So you made it this far, congrats!
Now before we get started, this is my first serious guide on steam.
And we are going to change some stuff in the registry, so only change the stuff I tell you to, or else it can mess something up.
I am not responsible if you mess something up in your regedit.

1st steps

So you read the disclaimer, and you are ready for your colors.

You can do this with any car, but I am going to use the GT68 for this as an example.

So as you can see here, I bought the GT68, so we’re almost good to go.

But before you continue, be sure so change the body color atleast once, or else the Values we have to edit won’t be there![/u]

The tricky part

So you bought your car and changed the body color once.

Now we have to use regedit
To acess regedit, we have to press Windows Key + R and type in regedit and press enter.

After that, we have to navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/JDM4iK/Drift Streets Japan.
Now it should somewhat like this

Now we look for our car, in my case the GT68, and find the DWORDs
(yourcarname) BodyColorR_h(some random numbers)
(yourcarname) BodyColorG_h(some random numbers)
(yourcarname) BodyColorB_h(some random numbers)
When you open them, they should look somewhat like this

And change it to something like this

Remember, this is a hex number, so you can change the numbers from 0-9 and A-F
Also, after the changes it should have the same format i.e. the same amount of numbers.
After you changed the three DWORDs, just close regedit and restart Drift streets Japan if you haven’t already closed it.
And voila! You are now like the cool kids!

Conclusion

This trick works with every car in the game, but about Mod cars I’m not sure.
In regedit you can also make your wheels extremely large or small, and change some setting in the car setup screen.
