How to get over the empty feeling of 100% completion for Fallout: New Vegas

How to get over the empty feeling of 100% completion

Overview

Maybe you’re like me, you’ve been playing Fallout: New Vegas since the release in 2010. Sooner or later, if you haven’t already, you may be finding yourself completing all the achievements to get 100% game completion. This guide will focus on helping you find peace after the war is over.

Step 1: The Kubler-Ross Five Stages of Grief

-Denial: You’re in disbelief that you actually spent all that time getting all achievements
-Anger: You realized that you could have spent your time more productively
-Bargaining: Idk just raise Barter to 100
-Depression: Sadness over the fact that mods are the only thing new you can experience in FNV
-Acceptance: “It’s okay to take a break from Fallout: New Vegas for a while”

Step 2: Find a hobby

Go read a new book. I recommend Ray Bradbury’s works. A lot of his writing inspired much of the world in the Fallout franchise. Particularly his collections of short stories such as “The Illustrated Man” or “The Martian Chronicles.”

Step 3: Inner-Peace

Come to terms with yourself and embrace the fact that all good things must come to an end. Ultimately, someday you won’t ever be able to enjoy the things you once did, so it’s better now to accept the fact that you will change and the world will change.
