How to Get Quick Money + Renown + Food

Overview

A guide on how to get money, renown, food, weapons, and supplies very easily and quickly in Bannerlord.

Overview

1. Before starting this guide, a few psychological questions to ask yourself:

A. Do I want to have an unlimited supply of food, money, and renown?

B. Do I want the Aserai to hate me forever, so that even their childrens’ children will think of me with hatred and distain?

C. Am I a psychopath who wants to be a complete villain and overall bas****?

If you said “yes” to these three questions, then congratulations! You are ready to begin this guide!

Caravans Forever!

2. The absolute best source of supplies is by raiding caravans. However, this has some major problems:

A. If your army is too big, the caravans will easily outrun your army.
B. If your army is too small, the caravans will destroy most of your units.
C. If your army is just the right size, it will take a while to chase a caravan down, making the effort pointless.

Well, what if I told you that you could have a massive army that moves slower than Nevada counting ballots, and still be able to catch those pesky caravans in no time at all?

After starting the game, you should have a decently sized army (at least 50 units) and go to this location on the map. It is located to the southeast in Aserai territory. Here, just south of Garontor Castle, you will become the perfect ambush predator. Once a caravan crosses the fjord from the south, you will pursue them. They will flee toward the tip of the peninsula but become trapped. Then, like a spider descending on its prey, you can pounce on them and take them out. This will give you a hefty amount of rewards and loot which you can then spend to field bigger and bigger armies.

Because this is the only way to enter Aserai territory from the west, it is an extremely popular trade route. You should have no trouble finding plenty of victims here. Of course, they may send the occasional army to try to stop you, but usually they only send one at a time and you can easily ambush them as well.

Plunder

3. Each battle will yield a good amount of money, resources, and renown. All of which will allow you to grow your army. No matter how big it is, you can always come back here for more because the ai never learn their lesson and realize that this location is a deathtrap.

Once you plunder a full inventory’s worth of goodies, you can take them to the town of Ortysia to the north where you will quickly leave with a horde of silver from them buying your useless junk. If you’ve heavily damaged your reputation with the lords of Aserai, a few prisoner releases should make all of that go away. Before long, you will have completely screwed every noble in Aserai, and they will love you for it!
