How to get rid crash with the loss of sound

Overview

The game has a bug. First, the sound disappears, and after 3-5 minutes the game crashes. Unfortunately, the only known way to get rid of this bug is to turn off the sound.

Solution

To turn off the sound you need:

1. Right-click on WH 40K: DoW II: R in your Steam library, select the properties in the window that appears:

2. Then, click on the “Set startup parameters” button:

3. In the appeared window to drive in: -nosound;

4. Enter the game and additionally (for greater reliability) turn off the entire sound

5. Play!
