How to go in Thirdperson in Half Life

First have to open the game directory by pressing the the colon key next to the 1 key
then the console menu will pop up and in that menu you wil type

thirdperson

The in game camera will turn to the side of Gordon Freeman (like a 2-D platformer),

This makes it impossible to play. The 90 degree camera can be fixed by writing this.

cam_idealyaw 360 or 0

I believe this can be done in multiplayer, but thats if anyone actually plays Half Life multiplayer anymore.

This is another way to go in thirdperson using sv cheats 1.

sv_cheats 1

chase_active 1

Then to go back into firstperson type

firstperson

This works for both ways
