Play the game how you want to
At times its easy to get frustrated and start following strategy guides for optimal progress. Don’t do this. Most strategies require you to save up your money, prohibiting your progress on certain items.
The fun of this game comes from how easy it is to feel like you’ve made progress. Once you take away all of that, the game becomes watching money gross and sitting in your chair. Sure, you can leave it on in the background, but you can’t upgrade anything so it just feels like a waste of time.
Just upgrade what you want when you want. If you still feel like you need tips, here are a few that won’t affect how you play all too much:
- Unlocks greatly affect your income rates. They come from reaching a milestone.
- Events are laid-back and easy ways to earn megabucks, gold, and time-skips.
- 10 Megabucks can upgrade an item so that you make more money from it.
- Certain clothing boosts certain items.
- You can make megabucks for free by converting profits.
Don’t use CheatEngine!!!
This comes as a given to a lot of people, but don’t use CheatEngine. CheatEngine allows you to make the game run up to 500x faster, which seems appealing, but it’s not.
CheatEngine comes at the consequence of not only risking your account, but taking away the feeling of accomplishment you get when you reach a milestone or finally unlock something. With that feeling gone, there isn’t much to enjoy in Adventure Capitalist.
Play Events
There are new events all the time and they are completely free to enter. You usually don’t get too far in them without paying, but you can get far enough to earn free gold and megabucks.
It’s a lot of fun starting over from square one and getting back into those decillions again, and there is a greater sense of accomplishment because of the quests you receive for rewards.
If you’re just starting out, buy managers as soon as possible.
It gets tiring clicking a lot, and you won’t be able to earn money while idle if you don’t have managers! Not is it fun to try and get all the references for managers, but they’re super useful.
