Overview
This glitch will work for Half-Life 2, Episode 1 and 2. Not sure if it will work for any other source game with a save option.(Other cheats may work with this glitch but I have not tested it out)
Step one: Enabling console
If you haven’t already enabled console go into options>keyboard>advanced>enable developer console
Step two: Start a new game
Should be self explanatory, just start a new game and pause it when it gets done loading
Step three: Opening console and enabling cheats
When the game loads and you pause it, open the console by pressing the tilda key(the button between tab and 1). Now type this into console:
sv_cheats 1
and then press enter
Step four: Enabling god mode
Pretty easy to do just type in god and you will have god mode
Step five: Save the game and reload it
Now all you gotta do is save the game(preferably a new save) and restart Half-Life 2, Ep 1 or 2 and and reload the save and you should now have god mode and able to still get achievements!
