Chapter 1. Making the sound s*x happen.
Use this launch option.
-primarysound
Then lower the value of this command ( _snd_mixahead 0.1 ) in values of 0.01 until crackling occurs. Go as low as is acceptable. Depends on sound card power.
The ideal value is 0.05. Dont go lower or sound desyncs will happen.
_snd_mixahead 0.1
Then turn snd_noextraupdate to a value of 1. If it causes stutter, change to 0. If not, keep at 1.
Chapter 2. The reckoning.
Just play the game already. You have your commands, just GO.
