Overview
This guide shows how to disable the unskippable intro videos.
Step by Step
1.) Download this file[docs.google.com]
2.) Find the “Of Orcs and Men” folder in your Steam folder. Most likely under “SteamSteamAppscommonOf Orcs And Men”.
3.) Go to the sub folder “boot”
4.) Go to the sub folder “datapc”
5.) Go to the sub folder “video”
6.) Optional: Create a backup of the files in this folder (move them somwhere else or zip them)
6.) Extract the contents of the downloaded zip file into this folder and overwrite the old ones.
What the files contain and how it works
The files are just ogg movies with only a couple of frames of a black picture that take like 0.03 seconds to display. The game thinks they are this short and is still playing them. But, as they are very short, they are finished in under a second. This is faster than watching the intro every time you play. I made those files myself and they are free of any copyright.
