How to install GTA San Andreas Multiplayer (Steam version)

Downloads

Head to the official San Andreas Multiplayer site to download the client
SA-MP[www.sa-mp.com] you can grab any one of the mirror links (Shown in red)

The Steam version of GTA:SA Is not currently supported so you will also need a patch which you can download here: Google Drive[drive.google.com]

Step 1: Patch

After downloading the patch extract the files to your desktop and put them in GTA:SA’s folder

To get there open Steam’s library and right click on the game
(assuming the game is already installed)

And drag and drop both files in to the folder

Step 2: Installing the “Multiplayer” part

After you open the Installer you will be asked to choose an install location

Open Steam’s library and right click on the game

After choosing “Browse local files”
You will be taken to the directory folder of the game, copy the path from explorer’s “URL” bar

Paste the path in to the installer and if you did all the steps correctly the Install button should be clickable.

Step 3: Shortcuts

In Steam’s library bottom left corner

Look for samp.exe
