How to kill Marksmen as each class.
As a Marksman:
Killing Marksmen as a Marksman is easy. Just jump off a cliff, simple as that. Oh, you meant the ENEMY marksman? Yeah, that's a bit harder.
Optimal weapons
Primary: Semi-Action rifle. Why? Because you have a better magazine size (better than 1 shot, anyways). If you can pop up, shoot, and hide back down with the BAR, you can do that faster with the Semi. It's also a 1-shot headshot, so if you have good aim, go to town.
Melee: Pickaxe. Why? Because it digs better holes. If you find yourself in the sights of a Marksman, you'll want to hide in your tower or behind cover, and dig to a better location. If cover isn't an option, this probably won't help you, though. In dangerous situations, you're better off dodging and weaving back to your base.

As a Commando:
As a Commando, you want to be careful. If you stop for even a second to get a better shot with your rocket, that gives enough time to get sniped. You want to try and strafe around, but do so as little as possible, because these people aren't bad shots, and eventually will kill you even if you strafe.
Optimal Weapons
Secondary: Either. Why? There are a few reasons.
Tri-Barrel: If you're good at rocketjumping, you can use this to throw off Marksmen and then allow your team to take them out. However, they may stop targeting you. If they do this, you're in luck. You get the honors. One thing, however, to note. DO NOT use the minigun to kill them. It takes time to spin up, and their team may hear or see you before you get off a shot.

Yes, you can take a shot at them and they will (a. Lose their tower, and (b. Retreat. If you have a miner on your team, and if he can dig to the enemy base, they can interrupt this retreating. Be careful, though. You only have one shot, and you will regret it if you miss.

If you aim. And you click. You will make them not win.

As an Engineer:
If you find yourself getting shot at by a Marksman or 5, your best bet is to get behind cover, only dashing out for health and blocks. If necessary, make your own shelter, and maybe even use your Jetpack to get out of the way or up mountains to kill them.
Optimal Weapons
Secondary: Block Cannon. Why? If you find yourself being shot at by a marksman halfway across the map, chances are your Rocket Turret won't hit it. Instead, try to block off their firing range by firing at where they're sniping from. Try to build in front of their line of fire, so they'll have to move or dig out the blocks, thus giving you a chance to kill them. Use your SMG, abuse your Jetpack, that thing needs some love, c'mon man.

As a Miner:
Ooh, this is the easiest class to do it with. You want to tunnel under them, and pop up behind their towers, then climb to their perch and shotgun their face. TOne to Two shots should do the trick. One problem is that your only weapons aren't very accurate at a range. One more thing you need to worry about is being teamed up on. In order to deal with being teamed up on, check the minimap to see your position, and how close it is to the enemy spawn. If you're close, be ready to get teamed up on, for obvious reasons. To cope with this, dig underground, then cover your entry. If the entry is still open and someone comes in, stop what you're doing and use the shotgun.
Optimal weapons
Primary: Pump-Action Shotgun. Why? Because of increased ammo capacity, 5 shots instead of only 2, as well as better range, you can easily kill a Marksman in 2-3 shots from short range, and instantly from direct fire.
Melee: Super Shovel. Why? Because, if you read the "As a Marksman" part of this guide, you understand that Marksmen don't use melee all too often. This is great, because of the SuperShovel's decreased melee damage, as well as the fact that it digs in a 3X3X3 cube, allowing you to dig to the enemies faster, as well as take down sniper towers.
