Step 1

Successfully purchase the game. Optional thing is to buy the whole Yakuza Collection bundle, featuring all Like a Dragon (formerly Yakuza) games up to Yakuza 6. The best way is to buy them on sale, but if you're a true Yakuza fan, you can buy these games at full price.

Step 2

Now that you own the legal copy of the game, it's time to launch it!

Step 2.1

Experience the Sega jumpscare (VERY SCARY DON'T PLAY AT NIGHT).

Step 3

Beat up the poor guy who owes money to your loan shark employer, then meet best boy Nishiki.

Step 4

Then drink and sing with Nishiki. Congratulations, now you love men!

Step 5 (Bonus)

If you've reached this point and still haven't begun to love men, then you should progress the game a little further and get to the point where a completely naked and wet Kiryu takes a refreshing shower, showing players his toned body and back with an unfinished Dragon tattoo.

Step 6 (Bonus #2)
