Creating the Windmill

First create the support, at least 4 blocks high. The extra stone block is for comparison only

Optional

Add 4 wooden walls on top of the support. In case you don’t know how to attach the walls so they snap into the structure, you need to press Alt and click.

Add a roof on top

Now add the rotor. Make sure the plus shape is facing outwards. You’ll be building onto it.

Start adding timber into all 4 sides of the plus shape

Add about 15-20 blocks of timber (1.5/2 full lengths)

Once you’re done, you should have this

Start adding windmill blades

Best would be to add 2 blades on both sides of the timber poles

Once you’re done, you should have this:

Now go towards the plus shaped part center until you get the indication

Press T and your windmill will start spinning!
