Overview
In this Tutorial i will show you how to make custom hat in Duck Game 😀
What i need to make custom hat?
Well you need graphic program. Personally, I recommend using one of the following programs:
– Piskel
– Gimp
– Microsoft Paint
To make custom hat you need have a template:

So if you download this template and have one of this graphic programs you can go to the next step of this tutorial.
How to make custom hat (Piskel)
Okay so you’re using Piskel, turn it on. When you turn it on, it should look like this:
Okay, now we need to import the template to the Piskel.
Click on the template and drag it to the Piskel.
Now click import.
Great. Okay so before you start drawing look at the picture below
Now you can start drawing your custom hat.
Let’s say i wanna have a duck with: sunglasses , cape , custom rock and small water particles
Now you need make some textures transparent. So click here
Then you must make your duck transparent.
Then make rest of textures transparent.
Now we need export your duck and name it how ever you want. Click Here:
I named it: “Cool sunglasses”
Okay now you need go to this website to make file.hat

So now you should see this:
Then click here and then name hat how ever you want (This name will be in the game)
Then click here and then name hat how ever you want (This name will be in the game)
Great. Now click here:
Now only what you need to do is drag your hat to Duck Game folder.
Mine Duck Game folder is located in D:SteamsteamappscommonDuck Game
You may have a different path to the Duck Game folder.
How to make custom hat (Gimp)
Okay so you’re using Gimp, turn it on. When you turn it on, it should look like this:
Okay, now we need to import the template to the Gimp.
Click on the template and drag it to the Gimp.
Great. Okay so before you start drawing look at the picture below
Now you can start drawing.
Let’s say i wanna have a duck with: duck on head , torn cape , custom rock and small yellow particles.
Now you need make some textures transparent. So colour everything on purple, then colour ducks
Good. Now click here:
Then click on purple texture and click delete.
Now this should look like this:
Now we need export your duck and name it how ever you want. Click Here:
I named it: “Double Duck”
Okay now you need go to this website to make file.hat

So now you should see this:
Then click here and then name hat how ever you want (This name will be in the game)
Great. Now click here:
Now only what you need to do is drag your hat to Duck Game folder.

How to make custom hat (Microsoft Paint)
Okay so you’re using Microsoft Paint, turn it on. When you turn it on, it should look like this:
Okay, now we need to import the template to the Microsoft Paint.
Click on the template and drag it to the Microsoft Paint.
Great. Okay so before you start drawing look at the picture below
Now you can start drawing.
Let’s say i wanna have a duck with: Tombstone on head , cape , custom rock and Ghost Duck particles.
Now you need make some textures transparent. So click here:
Now you must choose this color:
Good. Now colour everything on that colour, then colour ducks:
Now we need save your duck and name it how ever you want. Click Here:
I named it: “Ghost Duck”
Okay now you need go to this website to make file.hat

Then click here and then name hat how ever you want (This name will be in the game)
Great. Now click here:
Now only what you need to do is drag your hat to Duck Game folder.
