So, you must create scenario of your future film and download and use video capture programms like as Fraps or WeVideo – That’s all.

But if you want to create your video (film) better you can use this functions and programms:

• Sony Vegas
• Custom Camera mod.
• Adobe After Effects
• Slow-Mo mod.
• Trainers or Cheat Engine
• SweetFX SMAA + Shaders Mod

Functions and programms features

My list of functions and programms will let you to get more experience from game and to create your video (film) better.

Sony Vegas will let you to cut some moments from your videos, to put some text or pictures on your videos and of course to use “green screen[ru.wikipedia.org]” which let you to create real film. Sony Vegas is a basic variant of video montage.

▶[docs.google.com] Custom Camera mod:

Custom Camera modification will let you to make film as a real cameraman, you just need to find the best foreshortening and to “catch” the moment what you need.

▶[www.google.ru] Adobe After Effects:

Oh man… This programm is the most important in our list. With this programm you can do everything. For the example you can “cut” Wei Shen from the game and “put” him into a real life. That’s awesome. I can’t explain what you can do with this programm. So if you haven’t understand what I talked about, just try to Google it about Adobe After Effects.

Slow-Mo modification will let you to make your life of cameraman more “easy” and to create some scenes more dynamic.

▶[www.google.ru] Trainers or Cheat Engine:

This tools will let you to get infinite ammo for the fight scenes or just teleport to every place in game and make your video capturing “easier”.

▶[forums.sleepingdogs.net] SweetFX SMAA + Shaders Mod

This is just graphical mod which make your graphics better. Warning: Use this mod if you have high-spec PC.

How to make film in Sleeping Dogs

So, you have downloaded and you are want to start to create your own film? Don’t be so fast, it’s very long and hard process. Try to read this tips, I think that they will help you.
