Overview
I just spent the last 2 hours making characters and comparing them side by side with Goku in-game. I made this guide to show you how to make a character EXACT to in-game Goku. I searched all over and found nothing quite right but im 100% my way of making Goku is perfect, so let’s get into it!
Starting Goku (Race)
To start, you need to pick the male Saiyan. A friend thought the default Goku in-game could have been human based on fighting. After looking into it, it’s very clear that he’s in fact a Saiyan. Humans fight with closed fists while Saiyans have one hand opened in front of them. THAT, and Goku is obviously a male Saiyan…
Creating His Face (Body)
After picking the male Saiyan, match your creation menu with this one. You’ll notice my Goku is bald and that’s simply because there is no Goku hairstyle (except for the wig that I’ll mention later on). You pick what ever hairstyle floats your boat, the wig replaces your hair completely while wearing it.
Matching His Colors (Colors)
Finding Goku’s skin tone was quite the challenge. It’s tricky because the way things are colored and the light makes finding the exact shade difficult. I tried the tones all the way on the right and they were too bright and anything too low is too yellow. In the end, I found it after several characters.
Hair AND Eyes are the same shade of black:
The body colors don’t matter because you can change those later, and we’re going to be wearing Goku’s outfit anyway.
Dressing Like Goku (Clothing)
On to the clothing! It’s really up to you but I chose to wear the cheapest Goku outfit at the store. If you dont see it, it’s possible you haven’t progressed far enough in the story but it should be VERY early on. However, the wig is the essential part of your character! You can only find it with some luck on PQ #10. It may seem impossible but trust me, it’s just extremely rare.

After all that, you’re finished! Here’s the final result of trial and error for hours:
